2004 Election Wrap-Up
On June 28, 2004, Canadians elected the 38th Parliament, returning
Paul Martin to the office of the Prime Minister and the Liberals
to government. However, the Liberals failed to gain another majority
government, finding themselves instead in a minority government
position.
