Guy Lachapelle - Week Three Grades

Political Parties

Bloc Quebecois

Duceppe is running a fine campaign. The priority from the beginning of the campaign has been to focus on youth voters and asking them to get out is a positive message for our democracy.

Conservative Party

Simply because the PC has no real interest about Quebec voters. This is not to blame them, simply a political reality.

Liberal Party

Because Martin was away. They were unable to give him the stature of an international PM.

New Democratic Party

Beyond the environmental issues, Layton has not been able to capture the imagination of Quebec voters. The old vision of making Canada "independent" from the US (mainly the Trudeau vision) is not catching the imagination of Quebecers anymore.
