NDP leader Jack Layton found nude in massage parlor, bawdy house in 1996 during police raid. Layton reportedly told police it was just massage. He was found lying naked in a bed reportedly.

Story breaking on Sun News.....

“Sixteen years ago, my husband went for a massage at a massage clinic that is registered with the City of Toronto. He exercises regularly; he was and remains in great shape; and he needed a massage,” said the statement released shortly after the new television network aired its report. “I knew about this appointment, as I always do.”Source

The officer's notebook indicates he asked the suspected john: "Did you receive any sexual services?"

He replied: "No sir, I was just getting a shiatsu."

The cop: "Why did you have all your clothes off?"

The suspected john: No answer.

The cop: "Are you aware that there were sex acts being done here?"

The suspected john: "No sir."

The woman, who was from mainland China, denied masturbating the suspected john but when the question was repeated became nervous and replied, "I don't know I only come to work today," the cop's notes show.

His notes also claim he saw the "female dump wet Kleenex into garbage."Source

The optics are terrible for Layton here. He has always attacked such places as being places were women are objectified etc. Then he goes into one and gets a massage. I kind of feel sorry for Layton here on this but he did it to himself.

No charges were laid Sun News reported that Layton was cautioned by police and led down the stairs to his bicycle where he rode away.

Honest activity but bad optics for jack...poor Jack.

Worst smear ever. Seriously good luck with that one. Have you ever had a massage? Sometimes you take off your clothes.

Way to go, studly Jack. :)

Now can we get rid of our stupid prostitution and maryjanehehwanna laws?

The government can't give anything to anyone without having first taken it from someone else.

OMG in a suspected bawdyhouse that was raided by police? I don't think that's very common place at all.

The Ontario supreme court already got rid of the prostitution laws. Remember?

Are you suggesting our current PM has never been Naked? Now there is the guy I want to vote for, the guy who wears swim trunks in the shower at his own home.

BTW I expect this to be like the Suns Iggy story. A BIG FAT LIE! But even if it isn't I could care less.

Layton is the one who campaigned against these bawdy houses during his time as city councilor saying they objectified women and made them sex slaves. Yet he was supporting such a place.....This will resonate with women.

NDP numbers to drop...OMG God is watching over his flock here in Canada and knows He mustn't allow this man to become PM so he destroy Canada. Thank you baby Jesus for giving this former cop the courage to speak out against the would be PM Jack Layton....

Being found in a suspected bawdy house is a big deal. Especially when Layton himself was so against such places. The optics are terrible you guys must admit.

Agreed. Hope the Conservatives pick this up and it sinks them into nothingness.

That's nothing compared to your recent activities at Gay Pride parades.

How's the whole amateur gay porn business going, anyways?
