just when I thought technology couldn't possibly get more sophisticated there is development on a contact lens that will allow you to receive and display imagesright on your eyeball!...I thought contact lens camera and display in the TV series "Torchwood" were pure fantasies but apparently not...it's mind boggling what this could mean to the entertainment industry, smart phones, educational tools...the possible applications are endless...

Sure, once everyone has implants, and cyber brains, we will have a Ghost in the Shell scenario, or ... possibly the Laughing Man.

Why would you possibly have thought that? If there's one thing that is certain, it's technological progress.

And yes, I agree, very cool.

add to that researchers now developed bullet proof skin...they take your skin cells and grow them in culture with spider silk which then can attached to the donor...superman is not far off...
