In the city of London On., there could be a very heated strike coming in the New Year and the company Caterpillar had federal money, which Harper himself, three years ago went to London and boosted about the investment. Now, things are different and the company is threatening to cut wages and benefits in half and lock out the workers. More foreign companies are using this type of bargaining, when the contracts come up for renewal. The company is raking in billions and so we have another foreign company like Navistar who appears NOT to care about their workers. When it the feds going to stand up for Canadians workers and their families and bring in changes to protect workers from companies like these?? http://www.lfpress.c...9/19179381.html

Not until we outsource our governance or perhaps insourcing is the way to go, read; by separating from Ottawa.

One has to wonder, how much longer do we have to wait before workers start doing the right thing and physically hunting down and perhaps taking out those in charge of the corporations doing this to the working class...

It's clear that the rich, the right wing have declared war on the working class so then treat it as such...it's a war.
“This is all about who you represent,” Mr. Dewar (NDP) said. “We’re (NDP) talking about representing the interests of working people and everyday Canadians and they [the Conservatives] are about representing the fund managers who come in and fleece our companies and our country.

When the company received the tax breaks it wasn't owned by Caterpillar, it was owned by Greenbriar Investments, who bought it from GM. If there was anything untoward with the sale and tax breaks, the time to look into that would've been at that time,I don't recall reading anything about it being a problem then. I don't recall the union complaining about the boost to the company either.

So how is it Harper's fault that Greenbriar sold?
I don't condone Caterpillar's too low wage offer, but can the Federal gov't stop Caterpillar legally and should they?

I’m beginning to believe “Harper derangement syndrome” is more than just a catchy phrase.  Those poor ‘progressives’ have snapped due to the undue strain of having to live under a Tory gov’t. and Stephen Harper.

Sure sounds like you are promoting and condoning physical violence and murder !!!

The right wing has made it clear, they're promoting and condoning slavery !!!

Don't know but should the government have imposed binding arbitration on Air Canada's unions when they were in a legal position to strike?

Yes... the right thing is obviously to become murderers.

And the "war" is only in your head and the heads of other similarly deranged individuals.

I do support genocide
