Probably. I'm not sure why, but it's a stupid rule. That applies also to when I try to access American tv content online. I say they should fit it into the free trade agreement somehow. Also, God bless you for watching CBC. I'm glad somebody is!I missed last night's episode of Arctic Air because I thought I had my DVR set up to record the series - and evidently didn't.
So I'm trying to watch it on CBC's website, but I keep getting a "this content is currently unavailable" message - does anyone know if this is because I'm trying to watch Canadian content in the U.S.? - ie: Will it always be "unavailable" to me?

I thought we could access each others' media online now - seems to me I've been able to at times, so I was wondering if this is a glitch with CBC's website or if it was my being an American thing.

No, I think there's still restrictions for some reason. Last week I tried to watch the latest episode of The Office that I missed. But I ran into the same problem.Ha!
It's a really good show - I've got my sister watching it now too.

Thanks
- I'll try that as a last resort if I find out I can't access the CBC site.
Try accessing it through a Canadian proxy.

Yup, it's working for me here. Looks like it's either a technical glitch you're having, or something like the licence is not allowed in your region.http://www.cbc.ca/arcticair/videos/episodes/ep-105---northern-lights.html
Thanks! I appreciate it.

Ain't never seen no Arctic Air, but National Geographic's Ice Pilots is a lot of fun:
You mean Omni Films " Ice Pilots NWT " ?
They changed the name , dropping the NWT for the UK and US market.
A very good show I enjoy, some balls are needed to fly those planes.
Flying Wild Alaska isnt too bad, although that young hottie should know planes better than she does, for gods sake she was virtually born in a plane and didnt know an altimeter was? Sheesh...but she is fun to watch.
Anyone watched IRT Deadliest Roads? Thats a lovely Sunday afternoon road to drive

I'll be checking out Ice Pilots too, but from what I'm reading, that's more of a reality show?

I have spent much of my adult life in the North and like Ice Pilots NWT. It does depict that life pretty faithfully. For people who have never been in -50 weather, it is hard to explain just how tough it is to do any kind of business. I wish they spent a little more time profiling the communities they visit, their aircraft are really a vital link for some truly remote places.
On the other hand, Ice Road Truckers is... meh. Nothing really happens much of the time.
