Neither of those are charter rights.

Can you prove neither emergency medical services nor ambulance services are charter rights?

I can not but I can tell you no one has spent the money it takes to go to supreme court to find out if they are charter rights.

I don’t speak for the “Wildrose Party”, nor am I speaking for the “Wildrose Party”.

However, according to CBC News, “Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith said she has absolutely no intention of legislating on abortion, and that includes delisting”.

She is a perfect politician.. Talking out of both sides of her mouth. One side will be what she does... fact is, I can't figure out which group she is pandering towards and which group she really supports with her position, but right now she has it both ways.

We will find out once the election is over and WildRose is in power.

I see a Majority Government coming.. the PCs look tired, sound tired...

Nothing wrong with DeListing Abortion.

I have to pay for my dentist, prescription drugs and eyecare but it's the taxpayer's responsibility to have an unwanted fetus sucked out?

It's unfortunate that electors fall for this crap and don't punish politicians like this. When a politician talks out of both sides of his or her mouth, voters need to punish them. Otherwise, that's what we'll continue to get because they'll be rewarded for their dishonesty.

A poor one that was easily shattered with madmax's preceding reply.

You're comparing a woman having to carry a child to term, give birth to it, and be a mother before she is ready to having your teeth cleaned. Just to put your argument into context here.

No I'm just saying she should maybe pay for the abortion she can choose to have or perhaps think of other more effective forms of birth control.

So you want to restrict access to abortions to only those that can afford it. You want more teen mothers and suicides too.

As for finding "other more effective forms of birth control," it's pretty tough to find a more effective form of birth control after your find out you're pregnant.

Well if you can't afford prescription drugs then doesn't the government step in? Ditto with dental care?

So if it can be proven you have no other option than a publicly-funded abortion then OK let the gumint be on the dime. But it shouldn't be the default response by the healthcare system IMHO.

I'd say many decisions to have an abortion are as a result of bad choices.
