Hey...I have a request. Can you say something nice about the Khmer Rouge?

Im not apologizing for anyone, im just stating the facts. The party that won in Egypt renounced violence almost 40 years ago, rejected the jihad against the west. The military has only left the president with symbolic powers but theyll suckle up to the American tit just like Mubarak did and step into line.

I doubt these guys will turn Egypt into Afganistan 2.0 but I worry for the minorities in the country, coptic Christians and such.

But what happens when Sharia Law gets introduced into Egypt or when the MB says that Israel isn't a legit state?

If Sharia Law happens in Egypt, just look at Afghanistan as an example of what to expect. Afghanistan does have Sharia Law... same form of law under the Taliban. (Maybe less to a degree, but ..

Frankly,considering the Khmer Rouge and it's detesting of all things intellectual,artistic,and,religious based...I'm surprised they didn't just blow the place up!!!

Ya' know...Kinda like the Taliban and how it destroyed many ancient religious edifices and artifacts...

al-Qaradawi was on about something the MB call 'gradualism' which is the slow installment of a 'true Islamic society'. With their Jihad attitude, the plan seems more to steel from the local Christains and killing the planet's Jews rather than any plans for normal tourism, et al. The Army is in a bit of a bind. While they're still driving the car, the kids are getting very rowdy in the backseat.
