Perhaps we should have just let them and Gaddafi kill eachother. Seeing this, after also watching the insanity of the Afghan's reacting to burning paper like rabid monkeys, it's hard to imagine the Middle East, and especially Islam integrating into the civilized world any time soon.

Here are the highlights:

* Headstones torn down and crucifixes smashed with hammers by extremists

* More than 150 graves of British serviceman systematically desecrated

* Attack carried out over two days with footage posted online

Apparently the grave of a Canadian pilot was also destroyed. I think if I hear the concocted, Orwellian term "Arab Spring" again, I'm going to puke.

No such thing as free speech here, OLP. Calling a spade a spade will get you a month.

Why do we continue to get involved in the civil wars of other nations?

"History I believe furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free and civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance, of which their political as well as their religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purpose."

There is no free speech on the Internet, period. And telling the truth or calling a spade a spade will not get you in any trouble - being rude or crude, however, will. You can do one without doing the other.

This story gets a big meh, like another poster already stated. There's a reason why war is a pretty bad thing. This is just another reminder. Like it or not, this type of thing goes on in every conflict.

Wonder who said this about those US troops when they were caught desecrating dead bodies recently?

Oh, right.

Although both acts are reprehensible I think there is a slight difference between pissing on war monuments and breaking them to pissing on dead
bodies

Yes clearly a "slight" difference: both are inanimate objects.

So maybe IF Gaddafi did go after these rebels, we can kinda understand why. While searching the net, I came across a video of these rebels beheading a man from the Middle-East. It was horrible but as a North American, it really opens one eyes to what some people in world do and what others suffer from. I really think we should have stayed out of the Middle-East and I feel the same way about Israel. The former PM or Prez of Israel was on The View last week, and one got the idea, they are going in to Iran, even if other countries don't agree. So with Israel with nukes, this spring is a good time to stay on this side of the Atlantic.
