i wouldn't be surprised if it's someone similar to the norway killer.

Nothing says Norway like a guy named Muhammad.

Anyways, is anyone really all that suprised?

That makes sense. Germany is shooting Jews and French soldiers to improve their Vichy Sarkozy's chances at helping create the 4th Reich. Historical precedents are all there!

Surprised at what exactly?

I wasn't surprised that a Muslim is (apparently) again murdering other Muslims (the soldiers) and Jews.

It happens pretty much every day.

I am surprised that he was known to the police (if he's guilty), as a convict and Islamist yet still was successful.

Yes I am suprised because I clearly heard that the French police or investigators were looking for someone from the military with neo nazi ties.

Was there not an attack on a soldier from North Afrikan decent? Was security not beefed up at Jewish AND Muslim schools?

The trail was pointing in that direction.

But anyways I am happy to hear that the perpetrator will no longer be preying on people.

This guy obviously was spun out of wack and had to be stopped!

I wasn't surprised either when Neo-Fascists were suspected. Even though there are only a handful of these folks, they appear to be tied to violence by police officials.

That would have suprised me more. Anyone paying attention to France, rocognizes the significant rise of Islamic anti-semetism in that country, and Europe as a whole.

I've never understood why Jihadists were so obsessed with blowing themselves up when they attack the west when its easier just to get guns and go on a shooting spree

more people would die and people would be so scared if it happened quite a bit

Actually when I first heard about the shooting at a Jewish school I think it did cross my mind that a Islamic militant being behind(but maybe not) this but then they(media) mentioned something about the other target and something about security at other muslim and jewish schools being increased and that the police already had a specific profile.Aswell I am not in France nor know anyone there nor do I follow French politics very close(or at all) so I am not in any position to start guessing who was behind this.

However you seem very confident in telling everyone here that you are not suprised of the ethnic background and religion of the perpretator, after the fact.

I would have surprised me less. This guy went after North African soldiers for some reason. But he was likely unbalanced in any case. These two types of suspect come to mind first, though: nationalist or religious terrorists. They're the ones who most fear that the purity of their way of life is under threat, I suppose...

It's easy to understand why people are anti Jewish, it's also easy to understand why people are anti Muslim
It's easy to understand why people are anti Christian and anti west

Quite frankly I try not to waste my brain power giving a damn about any of those, religion and religious culture is pretty much useless to me and it's useless to the world

Until you people figure this out you'll just be killing each other for no reason, have fun

Anything to avoid honing in on the obvious suspects, since plenty more violence can be expected from that direction.

Except that if they are perchance arrested they can shoot their mouths off as to who's leading the effort.

The terrorists on 24 would swallow a Cyanide pill if Jack Bauer or law enforcement were closing in on them..
surely they could do the same if they didn't want to get captured alive

Actually I never really understand people that lump an entire ethnic, religious or national group together and blame them all for the actions of a few. Whether that is Israeli governments occupying land, Islamic terrorists killing innocent people, or Western governments invading countries. It always seemed overly simplistic to me.
