Interesting because my search of that site disclosed no synagogues in YU, NWT and NU, and only one in NL.
There used to be. They kept melting when they lit all those candles.

Yep, looks like Judaism gets a pass as well. Probably every other religion too. It's only Christianity that gets treated differently for whatever reason.
Some might even call that a type of persecution, eh kimmy?

Doesn't that happen to all Canadian structures, particularly during the summer? There used to be. They kept melting when they lit all those candles.

As they should be.If you've got any stories of Jews doing funny things, feel free. Right now the closest we have is JBG asking why there are no synagogues in the far north. When Jews do jump the shark-- like the chumps in New York harassing women riding on the Jewish bus, or the fundie crazies in Israel throwing fecal matter at elementary-school girls because they're "immodestly dressed", they get called on it.
Years After Acid Horror, Suicide Stirs Pakistan (link)
KARACHI, Pakistan — Fakhra Younas went under the surgeon’s knife 38 times, hoping to repair the gruesome damage inflicted by a vengeful Pakistani man who had doused her face in acid a decade earlier, virtually melting her mouth, nose and ears.
*****************
On Feb. 28, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, a Karachi filmmaker, won Pakistan’s first Academy Award, for “Saving Face,” a documentary that focuses in gritty detail on victims of acid violence like Ms. Younas. Despite the film’s disturbing topic, the Oscar gave Pakistanis a welcome shot of national pride, while focusing attention on a social ill.
Acid is the preferred weapon of vindictive men against women accused of disloyalty or disobedience. Common in several Asian countries, acid attacks in Pakistan grew sharply in number in 2011, to 150 from 65 in 2010, although some advocacy workers said the increase stemmed largely from better reporting.

You are gravely misreading my posts.I like the "but our violence is never as bad as their violence" in every one of your threads. There is plenty of violence by all the major religions. Jews have more than their fair share.
What you're saying is that all prior mass migrations of peoples were excusable but the Jews' more or less forced exit from Europe is "taking (land) by force"?Claiming a biblical birthright to someone else's land and taking it by force is violent and happens all the time.

We didn't hear about Christians making asses of themselves either. Except for one particular person. I guess that's tantamount to Christians huh?I think the reason that nobody made fun of the Jews on this message board last weekend is that we didn't hear about any Jews making complete asses of themselves.

When is Kaliningrad going to be returned by Russia to Poland?
When will Vietnam free South Vietnam?
When will China free Tibet?
When will Russia stop meddling in Georgia and South Ossetia?
When will Russia return the Kurile Islands to Japan?
When will Sudan refrain from military attacks on South Sudan?

I agree with you that Israel's land invasion is just as bad as the ones in your list. Hopefully all these injustices can be reversed one day.

Are you saying that if Israel takes land in response to an attack and the other side doesn't agree to lay off future attacks, the land should lay fallow for years? Or be allowed to the base for yet more attacks? You've got to be kidding.Lol. Taking land, settling it then building walls and fences through villages is not a " response to an attack".

I'm saying that taking land and settling it is not a response to an attack. To couch it as such is a lie.Are you saying that if Israel takes land in response to an attack and the other side doesn't agree to lay off future attacks, the land should lay fallow for years? Israel waited a long time until it started settling the land; except for Jerusalem. The Arabs did not respond to numerous entreaties to bargain before the settlement process started.I'm saying that taking land and settling it is not a response to an attack. To couch it as such is a lie.
