Does america have my info?

I recieved my doe tag in the mail and guess where it came from, america. Would they be given info on me or would it just be a printing company with no info. The new machines that you put all the info in to get a lic came from america also. At $600 per machine x's how many issuers there are in ONT. Can't we do anything anymore in ONT.

I believe all your info would be in the USA. They are using the established US system for tracking hunting licenses. They have been way ahead of Canada in making hunting/fishing licences electronic.

I am sure this breaks some privacy laws here in Canada. Having foreign entities access to information that should be done in Canada by Canadians is a pretty stupid idea.

The other issue is that this 3rd party has no vested interest in keeping that information confidential and will sell the info to the highest bidder. Happens all the damn time.
