Trudeau's political demise started before Trump ever became POTUS.

Trump is far better than Trudeau, he can dig a hole much faster.

Agreed....President Trump's job matters far more to the world than PM Trudeau's.

He obviously hasn't heard that one about when you find yourself in a hole...etc...etc.

The EU is desperate for somebody to love- nearly as desperate as Trudeau is for  somebody to love him.  Anybody.  Please.

Brussels is suffering from performance anxiety on every front.  The UK leaving is a massive blow to the EU.  Trump is an unknown quantity, but everything signals that it won't be business as usual.  The EU has long lived in fear of China, in the certainty that neither  they as a group or as individual members can hope to trade straight up/compete  with China.  And worst of all, there is major discontent in many member countries.

It is like the old lyric: 'If you can't be with the one(s) you love, love the one you're with'.    Canada for Europe right now  is like the person you meet late at night at the bar after a lot of beer.   Leave without saying goodbye in in the cold grey dawn, and no chance of taking them home to meet Mom.

The EU is here to stay...

Let's see how UK is gonna negotiate its hard Brexit first. Not even the Brexitiers could have guessed the whole notion of Brexit is based on such a shakey grounds....

As for Trump he is a lame duck....That's a foregone conclusion judging by the performance he has demostrated in a month in office. His supporters love the idea that he has more responsibility than Trudeau. But does that 'old chessnut' feeble argument really cut with his republican pals? He is testing the water and is just a matter of time....

The EU will be around as long as it is advantageous for Germany.  And that is reality.

Hahahaha...with Brexit, EU is really on shaky ground.  They can feel the ground shifting.

The only reason Trudeau is "looked up to" by EU is due to the fact that he's been endorsed by Obama. He is an Obama lackey.  He's been tasked by Obama and Biden to continue the Obama vision, remember?  Mind you, I give him an A for obedience.

With Trump cheering wildly for Brexit, and stands for everything in contrast with EU...... Trudeau is the only one from this continent EU share visions with, who else? :D

Breaking up the EU weakens Europe. What sort of person wants that? Well, Mr. Putin does.
