Most of the Christians I know are from sects like United, Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic and they are not conservative or Conservatives.

How do they feel about atheists who ask inconvenient questions at opportune times?

Is there ever an opportune time for an inconvenient question, or what you perceive as incovenient?
I reckon most would just shrug and say ' don't know, don't care about not knowing'.  It is the nature of faith.

it's just hard to have any respect for the views of people "who don't know, and don't care to know".

More of your straw man fallacy arguments.

Go look up the meaning of "anarchy" and democracy. You are obviously confused in the difference.

Ad hominem fallacy argument not worth responding to.

Genetic fallacy argument. You are obviously a very lost soul.

the hedge funds created collateral backed securities and made billions, one of many examples that refute the argument that wealth is earned by creating good things and working hard.

Haha I have to admit that's a good one.

I see I struck a cord... don't worry it's not that hard to uncover first year philosophy students.  B)

It is your loss that you have no compassion for others. What happened to make you so bitter and selfish?

It seems axiomatic that a just society should not operate in a fashion that concentrates the vast amount of wealth with a small fraction of the population. That is the case in Canada, and is becoming more so every year. The get a job rant from the right ignores the fact that there are not jobs available for many, even a growing number of college graduates, and even if there were there would be little change in wealth distribution.
From1999 to 2005, the wealth of the top 20% increased by 43%. The wealth of the bottom 20% declined by 70%. (www.progressive-economics.ca/2006/12/07/ wealth-distribution-in-canada/). Is that the kind of country we want Canada to be?
