Long-time no see  :)

Don't get me wrong, I still despise them..........but boy oh boy, the NDP in power would just be scary  ;)

Yes, it's been a while hasn't it.

It'll be entertaining to see Justin and Tom fight it out over who will prevail in Quebec.

it will be good for Canada to have two credible parties able to form a workable Government, of which, the NDP is not one.

I was thinking the same thing. I was pleased to see that the Liberals are managing to get their supporters to open their wallets following Trudeau's election and the Conservative attack ad. Gotta build that war chest.

Cons

ervative attack ads against Justin Trudeau have turned into a financial boon for the Liberal party.

The party raised $336,000 in the 48 hours following Trudeau's landslide victory in the Liberal leadership race Sunday.

Officials say that's more than double the party's previous top haul for an e-mail fundraising campaign.

They say the donations poured in after two back-to-back mass email solicitations that urged Liberals to fight back against Conservative attacks.

To those MLW members who observe such holidays as I do, Happy Easter. If all goes well, I'll be shopping for spring clothing on Easter Monday. I do hope all those public servants who are off work will join me and give the economy a much needed boost.

In Topic: McGuinty Resigns as Premier of Ontario

15 October 2012 - 06:28 PM

I've just completed an automated phone survey by Forum Research regarding my voting intentions should an election be called in Ontario. Of course, the first question was wether I was aware that McGuinty had resigned-which I was.

McGuinty left under a cloud and smells of XL tainted meat. The federal Liberals better not touch him with a ten foot pole cause he's done like dinner...an e.coli dinner. Yuck!

So now, with the Legislature prorogued the question is what is the mechanism for an election be called?
