Why not? He's also saying the entire world was likely duped by one scientist.

An economist would be my guess, whoever it was that duped us into thinking economics is scientific.

The one who said invading Iraq was one of the greatest blunders an American president ever committed. But to his credit, Carter did help instigate the Iraq-Iran War thereby causing the deaths of a million or more human beings.

I am curious how many of the people who get food at the foodbank use the cash freed up by that to buy booze and smokes. I am not against food banks - they are necessary - but we can never control how people spend the money given to them and there are irresponsible people and irresponsible people tend to be poor.

I fail to see why people shouldn't be able to get smokes and booze at food banks too.

It's actually powerful people who tend to be responsible for most of the irresponsibility in the world - they're why there are so many poor people in the first place.

I think it more to do that wright is stinking rich, which the left hates, unless it is them with the big bank account.

Speaking for myself, it has way more to do with the fact he's also stinking powerful - something the right also seems to reserve a special affection for. 

I don't think Johnson meant to bring the celebratory panache to his truism that you do.
