On June 26-27, Kananaskis, Alberta will host the 2002 Group of Eight (G8) Summit. During this time, the remote resort area will be a hotbed of political activity. The leaders for Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan and the European Union will converge to set economic, political and security goals. An army of protesters, security forces and reporters will join these leaders.
