G7/G8 Minister Meetings
Prior to the G8 leaders’ Summit in Kananaskis, the following
ministerial meetings will take place.

February 8-9, 2002
- G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the G7 (Canada,
the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Japan)
met in Ottawa, Ontario.

April 12-14, 2002
- G8 Environment Ministers met in Banff, Alberta.

April 25-27, 2002
- G8 Labour and Employment Ministers met in Montreal, Quebec.

May 2-3, 2002
- G8 Energy Ministers met in Detroit, Michigan.

May 13-14, 2002
- G8 Justice and Interior Ministers met in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec

June 12-13, 2002
- G8 Foreign Ministers will meet in Whistler, British Columbia.

June 14-15, 2002
- G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the G7 will
meet again in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
