Biography

Greg Farries is the Project Director for Mapleleafweb and Policy.ca. He earned his B.A. (Political Science) at the University of Lethbridge in 2001, and recently completed his M.A. (Political Science) in 2005. His Master’s thesis title was What Voters Want, What Campaign’s Provide: Examining Internet Based Campaigns in Canadian Federal Elections, which examined differences between voter preferences relating campaign websites and what was being offered by political parties during the 2004 Canadian federal election. His interests include Internet campaigning, weblogging, provincial, federal and international politics, writing, major league baseball, and curling.

Greg brings a wide range of talents to the Policy.ca and Maple Leaf Web projects, in particular his experience with web-site development, website usability, information architecture, graphic design, and server administration along with many years of project management experience.
