  1. Of course, the addition of several thousand people to the death toll is okay. The Republicans should consider the possibility that if red states open and blue states stay shut down, it is republican voters who will be most affected by the surge in covid-19. That would be the stupidist way of looking at this catastrophe imaginable. This is a time when politicians should shut up and listen to people who know what they are doing and let the public health experts do what they do best. (Note to that guy who flunked out of college as a philosophy major trying to tell Doctor Tam how to do her

  3. Sure, we can use your letters to your Governor as evidence of how you put love of money above lives when Coronavirus deaths begin to rise again.

  4. China and our political responses to her, while important, are largely a distraction when it comes to handling this public health crisis, which should be entirely science-based and follow best practices. Canada may not be able to do what South Korea has done because we weren’t as prepared, but based on our current trajectory, Germany seems like a good model we can realistically follow.

  5. Former Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull has written an autobiography, and in it he talks about how Trudeau suddenly backed out of the TPP deal at the last minute, while all the other leaders were waiting for a photo op. It certainly makes a mockery of Trudeau's braggging that 'Canada's back!" on the international scene, and goes some distance to explaining why Canada really doesn't have much in the way of friends anymore. Former Australian prime minster Malcolm Turnbull has accused Justin Trudeau of “humiliating” other world leaders during negotiations for a revamped Trans-Pacific Partnersh

  6. The Deceitful Dem's #1 nemesis since late 2017? The great economy attributed to President Trump. We all are aware of the Wuhan Virus pandemic devastating the North American Frontier, for the past 5 weeks, including breaking the USA record for the most citizens ever to be unemployed/out of work, at one time. The Dems love this. Because it means a poor economy on Trump's watch. Here is an example of how much the Dems love the USA being shutdown indefinitely: http://t.latest.newsmax.com/r/?id=h1f09599fc,a58bab0,a597c82&ns_mail_uid=20127e4a-112c-4eba-b5e4-a0ec4d47ccff&ns_mail_jo

  7. I think that everyone knows what I said to be true, but some people will wait in the wings 'til this has all settled and say that "Trump did all the worst, most racist things" no matter what.

  8. How is my direct quote of "a logical phased in re-opening" tantamount to time to cut it loose? Learn to read and comprehend. Regardless, you don't care at all about the generational devastation that this continued lockdown is having on the middle class. Many businesses that have closed will never open again.

  10. Being a Canadian conservative, my interest in what the Democrats do is not that extensive. What are these poison pills you mention? Why would you think I am a Democrat? A global catastrophe like this is no time for politics. Republicans, Democrats Liberals and Conservatives should be working together.

  17. The OP is an oversimplification, but to be completely honest, a lot of Democrats and their darker minions have been hoping for this kind of economic downturn because they think it will hurt Trump's chances for re-election. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/06/09/maher_im_hoping_for_a_crashing_economy_so_we_can_get_rid_of_trump_bring_on_the_recession.html Maher didn't just say it once or twice, it's like his mantra. He's not the only Dem supporter who is willing to throw massive numbers of Americans under the bus just to get some loser like Hillary or Joe "I promise to repay my

  18. That's debatable. She's the one, after all, who invited the whole middle east to come to Europe, thus setting about the slow, gradual destruction of the EU and inflaming the far right.

  19. You'd have to be a complete nitwit to not know that the Dems love this. This is their "hail Mary" for the election and they're doing everything they can to ensure the worst possible outcome for Trump - and therefore the American people.

  20. You don't honestly believe that do you? That is preposterous. Do you understand that anyone who dies and may, or may not have, corona is counted as a corona death in the USA? Here is CDC's directive to doctors to just make-up the corona deaths to make the small numbers appear larger: The models have been wrong, the chosen 'experts' have been wrong, people are dying and many others are losing their livelihoods for this lie. What will it take for someone like you to actually read the data and listen to those that have been right from the very outset?

  22. Michelle Obama will be rushed in when Joe dies straining on the toilet. Cuomo will be her running mate. Donald will choke on a fried chicken bone and the Glad Man VP Pence who is a shapeshifting draco will bring in Kanye West as his running mate. Underground reptoids will kill Pence and Kanye West at a rally. There will there be mass panic and Meaghan Markle will run and defeat Michelle who is exposed as a man after her dress slips and she gets excited on the Ellen show. David Ike told me.

  23. Greetings my friend.. I am Dr. Neil Grow. I have discovered a cure for covid 19. You see I work in a laboratory that made the virus for Chinese agents. I need your help to save humanity. I need you to take my ten million dollars and put it in your bank account. I can then instruct you how to buy the drug and distribute it to Canadians. I need your bank account number.

  24. The key is the science-based approach: Rapid widespread testing for the virus and immunity, contact tracing, fast isolation of new cases, and return to full public participation for those with immunity as soon as possible. https://apple.news/AYMxNIjpGSr6MC13Lhm3bhQ

  26. I remember Biden when he was running for POTUS against Obama and Hillary in 2008. He doesn't speak off the cuff well, he's always putting his foot in his mouth. There's a reason why he lost to them, and why Obama hid Joe for 8 years.

  27. Countries are more powerful if they band together. That's why ie: NATO and OPEC exist. The US can go on it's own if it wants and if it has to, but when they have it often hasn't turned out well. The West should figure out a united response. Canada's downfall is its "niceness" and naivety, US's downfall is its arrogance. Both current PM and POTUS represent that perfectly.

  28. That's not what I said at all....I said that hospitals are laying off staff because revenue is way down for elective procedures. President Trump has provided guidance for opening up, and some states are doing so. Ontario was already maxed out before COVID19, with patients in hallways and broom closets.
