  1. With all that has come to light about the shady dealings, financial irregularities, forced employee NDAs, firing of the chair and then the entire board by WE it is simply beyond belief that no one in the entire liberal government thought to simply google the so-called charity whilst doing their so-called 'due diligence'. If this is the way entities are investigated by this government, I wonder how many other under-the-table deals are going on right now with no oversight what-so-ever.

  2. Maybe the problem is that they did Google it, and they decided that's the kind of corporation that they want to do business with. It does look like something straight out of the Liberal playbook. Funny thing about socialists, they elect a guy like Trudeau because he talks a good game, and then when it's proven that he's less trustworthy than a fox in a henhouse, they still want to funnel all the money in the country through his sticky little fingers because they still like listening to him.

  3. Just found out Craig Kielburger's parents are teachers and Toronto real estate investors. Now WE buying and selling all the properties makes sense: "Fred and Theresa Kielburger were determined to give their children advantages they’d never had. They worked hard, both as teachers and as strategic investors in Toronto’s hot real estate market. Their efforts paid off. By gradually buying one home after another, living in each, renovating them and selling them for a profit, they were able to build a comfortable life for themselves and their children." http://canadian-living-front.backen

  4. This is exactly why they've been mandated, of course. I assume you've seen those guys talking from their hospital beds, explaining how they figured they were young, healthy and safe, the virus scare was overblown, no need to wear a mask or social distance - now begging people to take precautions, wash their hands, social distance, wear a mask. Herman Caine thought masks were stupid, too; then he caught Covid-19 and now he's dead. Yes, being asked to take some minor action to protect others is certainly a hallmark of a lack of freedom. 5. Canada just basically deferred the pain. Economic pain now or economic pain later paying back the debt (with interest). People have to eat, but the full economic effects of this won't be felt for a long time. No matter what we do, this pandemic is an economic disaster.

  6. Have to disagree with that, he`s a good MP and great at his job. Sure he`s a pit bull when it comes to investigating corruption and lack of ethics etc. but after asking a question 4 times and getting no answer 4 times, he gets testy. He knows his stuff, in fact he has a real talent. Not a bad idea to see PMs and cabinet questioned like this more often. And - required to answer. I

  10. Looks like John Lewis' funeral was a lot more than 10 people. I geuss it's just the serfs that need to follow the rules, not important people of the ruling class.

  13. All these people are assholes. Anyone marching around acting like he's on patrol in 'Nam needs some therapy. One of these days someone is going to make a mistake, and given these people are, as I said, insecure/poorly adjusted assholes, that's likely to cause a lot of damage. They are a product, all of them, of a media which thrills to violence and confrontation, and which seems to be doing everything in its power to cheer it on, and some crappy, stupid, self-centered politicians at all levels who care about nothing and no one but themselves. That mess in Portland was an excellent ex

  14. What seems to be missing from your twisted logic is any importance being placed on the people who will have to PAY all of that money and the interest bills that go with it.

  15. Exactly. I come from a long line of people who worked hard and built this country and it's not ok for some mouthy losers to come along and act like they were some kind of troglodytes that we need to be ashamed of. My last name isn't Trudeau.

  16. People like him say things like "the old stock Canadians are being flushed out" and then are amazed that anyone might object to this. Or that it might cause a backlash and make those 'old stock' Canadians oppose things like immigration.

  18. And what changes has Floyd wrought? Made white liberals feel even more guilty about their skin color? Emboldened the far left? Gotten some crappy local governments to cut the budgets of police departments? Gotten lots and lots of people murdered as police pull back from minority areas? I can't see anything to date which has been positive from the Floyd mess.

  19. Views which dispute the transgender activists and their view that trans-women should have total equality with real women in all areas of society are NOT controversial among 90% of the population. The problem is that the very loud activists and their supporters in academia and media have settled on a narrative which excludes, ignores and vilifies the opinion of everyone else. I already presented a case where two academics are discussing their opposition to the current identity politics narrative (posted on the youtube topic) and then discuss the ramification to their careers they worry

  20. BREAKING: Seattle City Council moves to abolish the entire Seattle Police Department and replace it with a "civilian led Department of Community Safety & Violence Prevention." They want to replace the police force with nonprofit programs and "community-led activities." https://t.co/JnFaWusvvv
