  1. While I don't agree with the anti-vaxers and the anti-Covid crowd, I still believe Canadians have freedom of speech. This guy Chris Sky has just been put on the no-fly list for being an anti-vaxer, anti-Covid protestor/speaker for exercising his right to freedom speech. The government appears to be shutting him down and preventing him from travel so he cannot go to protest rallies and speak. This while a convicted terrorist, who killed someone when he was fighting for al Qaida in Afghanistan, received 10.5 million dollars and an apology, is not on the no fly list and is free to fly. Yes she was. So it begs the question, who the hell. Really. Either that or somebody's getting loads of payola. Cause it ain't her talent or her looks that's getting her in, I tell you.

  3. This is interesting in that Boehner was an arch conservative Republican speaker of the house and an arch-enemy of the Democrats. Yet here he is explicitly blaming the conservative media for shifting the ground under American conservative politics and elevating a bunch of screwballs to a level of importance they'd never have previously reached. "Besides the homegrown 'talent' at Fox, with their choice of guests they were making people who used to be fringe characters into powerful media stars. One of the first prototypes out of their laboratory was a woman named Michele Bachmann," Boehne

His shooting sprees was touted as a gun control issue instead of an islamic terrorism issue. https://thenationaltelegraph.com/national/2mye9dp7si9cw0sutyzwibzgbkctcm?fbclid=IwAR1vWDwPnPOvfs4iO3iAGu5qL00lQ2mumxftqLGgX20NKj-fDa8wiKd1A4Q Our government and media aren't doing their part to keep Canadians safe. 12. Global Affairs Canada and presumably other agencies of the Canadian federal government have seized the day for anti-racism training and re-programming in a remarkable virtue signaling campaign...on steroids. Importing and doubling down on U.S. based academics' critical race theory, the movement is underway to normalize Marxist groups like Black Lives Matter with momentum and inertia from the American experience (e.g. Derek Chauvin/George Floyd), while curiously downplaying the actual Canadian narrative. Why would any Canadian federal agency or ministry adopt such overt training rhetori

  13. The UK put India on its red list today, banning flights from that country. The new variant in India is spreading like wildfire. It's a double mutation, which makes it harder for both the body's immune system and vaccines to deal with. It's also much more contagious. Even as far back as a month ago, before the disease was spreading so wildly in India, most flights landing from India had one or more infected passengers. The numbers will only have grown since then. Fifty infected flights a week are landing in Canada, with people who can, if they so choose, quarantine for 3 days, or just ignore th

  14. That's right, you did say "the Trumps" [calling their illiterate mobs to war], and you were 100% incorrect in doing so because only Jr made the comment that you're ascribing to both of them. Do you speak English, MH? Or do you have a cite that shows Donald Trump talking about 'total war'? You were busted for popping off about illiteracy while simultaneously proving that you have no clue how the language actually works lol. My advice to you: keep playing with the chucklehead emoji and use less of the word thingies.

  16. Here's the thing myata - there's a laundry list of false claims made climate alarmists and that whole list of dire predictions has been a flop. Now their polar ice cap claim is going backwards. You can believe what you want, but we both know that I am 100% correct in saying that their track record is o-fer. FYI climate alarmism is one of the oldest scams known to man.
    2 points
  17. Exactly, and the only facts that we have to go on right now show that man-made climate predictions have all been dead wrong. Ice in the Antarctic has actually grown over the past 4 decades and last I saw it was the largest ever. Arctic ice has also been growing for the last 4 years. I'm not sure what you're talking about. If I was saying that man-made climate change is a big deal and it's their fault, that would be 'blaming', but I never said climate change was anyone's fault. I was pointing out the hypocrisy of the people in power and the influencers that are trying to pus

In Iraq they were fighting against ISIS extremists. In Afghanistan, NATO, including Canada, the UK, and U.S.A were fighting Al Qaida jihadist extremists who attacked America on 9-11 and killed over 3,000 people. You need to learn something about world affairs and the ongoing struggle between Communist Russia, China, and the west, as well as radical Islam. The new cold war will be between America and it's

  19. A wide segment of the public has weakened and become used to government handouts. While much support was needed early on, the Trudeau government seems to want to make mass welfare permanent rather than take on the important and courageous task of transitioning the public back to work. In the end it has to pay off for people to bother putting away the weed and collecting the pogey. My biggest problem with this government is they don't make hard and careful choices. They just borrow and spend and saddle future generations with debt. They rely on immigration to grow the tax base (vastly incr

  21. And our democratic institutions - free press, freedom of information - worked as they should-the public was informed, JT was (at least) embarrassed and many Canadians are looking at Trudeau differently. The organization that benefitted has shut down. That is pretty far from a banana republic. That the Conservatives aren't a shoe-in for the next election isn't because Canadians are stupid, or that they want to destroy Canada and live under communism; it's because Conservatives are not offering what Canadians want. That is how democracy works: the people decide which party/ideology they

  22. Can't give you mine because I am a guy who is being controlled by money; not one of the guys who uses money to control the rest of us. I said "money in small amounts has a meaning" - those small amounts that correspond to our small abilities to work and produce. Those trillions of dollars are meaningless because there is nothing to back those up. You can start buying planets from the outer space with the aliens on them - the aliens will not even know they were bought. What good will that be to you, I have no idea. So, no, it is not crap but the reality.

  24. From Day 1 of these events the authorities have not been open and honest with the society: here's what we know, here's what we don't here's what we're trying to achieve and here's how we will know if it works. None. Not a problem and here's the next seemingly arbitrary directive to obey blindly, no explanations given, common sense or not. Now, a question: does it look like an open and dynamic democracy in the 21st century? Or like something else?

Internationally lol, forget about it. Eg, in your perfect world, how does the fact that you cut Timothy's hair make it so that you can buy a sandwich from Dorothy? If you cut the hair of 10,000 people, how does that translate into your ability to buy a car that was made in Japan, Cougar? Do you think that communist and socialist countries get by without a form of currency? Do you think that the lea

  26. Japan's war-crimes were at par with the Nazis on some levels. The big threat in the Pacific theater was that if China fell it would free-up the massive Japanese army there for other purposes. Japan's weak spot was its transport system. It was considered a dishonor to be sent to guard convoys in the IJN...so ASW methods were sloppy and half hearted at best. US submarines quickly became the best on the planet once they figured out their torpedo issues...so the Japanese transports, oilers, tankers, etc, sank in great droves. Never to be replaced...

  28. Adding a political aggravator to a no-fly list because you don't like his speech is a pretty serious thing to do. If this is why he was on the no-fly list this should be a front-page national story. Maybe there's more to him than we know.

  31. Seems you don't understand what freedom of expression in the Charter of Rights means and you don't understand that governments don't get involved in using the full power, lawyers, and resources of government to shut down a citizen's freedom of speech because they don't like his views. Using the power of state to control speech or silence citizens is Marxist or Communist style of government.

  32. This is communism at its essence: entitled bureaucrats raking public funds producing mediocre or plain disastrous results. And notice that the root cause is exactly the same, regardless of the ideological label: near-complete isolation and detachment from the reality and any responsibility for the result. And no, McCarthyism would not fix it. Only active, engaged and smart citizens could. Those for example who wouldn't just silently swallow "travel from Wuhan, no problem" but demand and obtain all necessary explanations because it's about them, their country and their future.

  34. You have to teach something. I guess judgement calls have to be made. American schooling seems to do a lot more patriotic propaganda. There's value to teaching historical accomplishments but it should be factual. If people know about their country, good and bad, they're probably going to feel more connected to it anyways. The point you show is that this is all easier said than done.

And I think we wasted money by spraying it around with firehoses, spending more than any other nation. No. All are NOT losers. Asia has come through this fine. There are way more deaths in Canada than in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan COMBINED. And yes, I would have handled it better. And I can say that without hindsight. Back in January of last year I was paying attention to China. I ordered a

Then his government belatedly started ordering PPE gear while saying no one should wear masks and that closing the border would be 'racist'. His government was against testing at the airports and never supervised or policed the quarantine for those coming in. That caused us to be flooded with the variants which are killing people and shutting down cities now. What you mean is he gave you money.

  41. Yep. I liked how big tech and the mainstream media all banded together to silence the 3rd largest newspaper in the country because they ran a story that was negative to Joe Biden. They all called it disinformation and censored it two weeks before the election. Then after the election was over admitted that they were wrong and the story wasn’t Russian disinformation. I also liked how states violated their election laws to allow late voting, unverified signatures, and insecure absentee ballots.
