  1. The left thinks they know what is good for society, whether we like it or not.

And now they think they can use Covid-19 as a lever for instilling government control over our everyday lives. All are slaves to Big Bro.

Yup.  We wouldn't have to do this if the right wasn't composed of people who put their personal convenience over the safety and well-being of their society, neighbors, friends and loved ones.

  2. Pizza shop in town got closed down real fast. Health enforcement compliance officers are on the scene.

You people got that? Health Enforcement Compliance Officers.

    ;)

  3. Want to increase your body's resistance to viruses? Staying home sitting and eating and drinking, smoking is not the way. Get physically fit, get lots of fresh air and sunshine, and eat fruits and vegetables. Get some exposure to less dangerous viruses*.

    * or virii, as some may call it.

Having a strong and healthy immune system does protect you from Covid, of this there is no doubt. Just look at me... I've been out there since day one. Not a thing wrong with me, I tell you.

Or let me put this in reverse, for those who don't get, you know, all that brainy smart stuff. You have a weak immune system? Covid gremlins gonna come for you, baby... oh yeah.   ;)

Vitamin D is good, but it won’t make up for overweight and inactive.

  4. A group of Ontario police officers has launched a constitutional challenge against the sweeping pandemic health restrictions.

Wearing masks, social distancing and lockdowns are "ineffective" and "not scientifically or medically based" because they're based on coronavirus cases the legal documents claim "are 96.5 per cent false."

In no way is it a cop's purview to have an informed opinion on this.

    4. OftenWrong

      OftenWrong

It is their right to do so. They might be able to substantiate it by testimony of medical experts. But that is their problem. The legal arguments are the compelling ones, which if true would force the court to make their decision.

But hey. What a buncha kooks, these peace officers.   ;)

Each of us owes the government $25,000.

Consider that taken out of your pocket! ;)

  8. Indians banned from travel to Australia. Banned, as in offenders to be imprisoned.

Ah sweet xenophobia and state-sanctioned racism, and now imprisonment for a possible health violation,

    thy name is Covid-19!

And you people ain't seen nothin yet!   ;)

  9. China virus, you say? How dare you racist bastard.

So maybe moving to Russia isn't such a bad idea now, and for the forseeable future. Living there is kinda more normal. As Vlad Putin states, "We do not have such problems."   ;)

Forget not, the Soviets peacefully dismantled and re-invented themselves, only mere decades ago. This was an astonishing act of forethought that avoided a greater political and economic crisis later on. Avoiding the tidal wave effect.

I'm saying say what you will, the Kosaks are not stupid. They play chess, not checkers. They know, unless you deal with certain social and political issues at the end stages of the game there could be an even bigger, meaner wave coming. We in the west have blinders on.

      Have great day,,,

Mr. Trudeau is making noises more like a dictator every day. I almost think he likes covid-19. Helps make Canada a post-national state.

    3. OftenWrong

I blame the federalis first. They're the ones who didn't order us any vaccine. And now I heard they are musing over the idea of a Canada-wide curfew and interprovincial travel lockdown.

Provincial goonies are equally dumbfounded, especially Doug who probably now realizes he is in so deep over his head, he doesn't know what the bleep is going on. He just follows other people's advisement. We are so undone.

We could say the same about the US. That's why the border has been closed to unessential land traffic for a year.

  17. Hats off to Ted Cruz's reply - "You're welcome to step away." What a perfect, iconic statement.

In other words, because I show my face you don't feel comfortable? I don't give a hootin, my dear. Just go to your safe space! Go!

The CDC has already walked that back, saying: "The evidence isn’t clear whether they (vaccinated people) can spread the virus to others. We are continuing to evaluate the evidence."

Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?
