  1. Over-rated Meryl Streep - best actress of all time being subjective -  and other actors who can't get over it, should be smart enough to emulate Nicole Kidman.   And Steve Harvey, who met with Trump.

Yeah....but she should've had the decency to know what is appropriate and what is not.  There is a proper time for everything.

What a shame to have her lifetime acheivement award be overshadowed by something like that.  And look what's resonating more: it's not her blasted award, but apparently there is a divisiveness even with the response towards her on social media.  She blew a lifetime of achievement in matter of minutes.  She'll most likely be remembered for this than anything else.

    3. dialamah

Only a shame to you and yours, Betsy.  In my opinion, more people should stand up and say "Trump, you're a dick".

    4. betsy

That's your opinion.   Just choose the proper occasion when you do it - otherwise, we all know who'll look like a real dick.

  2. Mainstream media didn't report about Wilkinson's harassment of Sarah Sanders - following her to another establishment, organizing a group to scream at her.   The owner (?) of that other restaurant confirmed it.

    1. BubberMiley

Are you really accusing the MSM of not doing their part in stoking division and getting people angry at other private citizens?

    2. AngusThermopyle

I suppose you can view it that way, if you're a gold medalist in mental gymnastics. Non gold medalist's would see it as selective reporting in order to further a narrative tied to a particular agenda. You just keep vaulting away though.

  3. Sara Sanders tweeted:

"Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so."

@scribblet - Apparently Antifa just published the names of over 1000 ICE employees.  I don't think it's so people can send them Christmas cards.  People getting hurt seems to be a goal now.

    3. scribblet

That has to be illegal surely.

It seems to be the Democrat’s new platform for the next election:    harass, attack and threaten anyone they don't agree with.  It seems they have declared open season on Republicans.

Next time they try selling you their tolerance and inclusion narrative remember these things because they don’t mean it.  They’re only for tolerance/inclusion if you are 100% in agreement with them.

    4. BubberMiley

If Antifa and the Democrats are the same thing, how about saying Stormfront and the Republicans are the same thing? Or would saying that be shamelessly lying to make a weak point seem more believable?

  5. The guessing game.....

1 in 4 Students Left With PTSD Symptoms After Trump's Win, Study Shows

Now I wonder how many among Canadians?   Just on this forum alone, I could tell there are three!

Can you guess who they are?

    1. bcsapper

Judging by the CNN coverage on election night I think most of their staff did too.

  6. Attendance at Trump's Nevada rally quadruples Obama event total at UNLV arena

Too bad Trump didn't have enough time to stump for House reps.

      Don Jonas

Failed presidents are the only ones ever concerned with how many paid "supporters" attend their rallies (What sort of president has a rally at this point in their term? A failed one.)

I was wondering what could make someone so insecure as to post about comparative crowd size and then I saw this, which explains everything.

Yep, we're talking about a population of about 35 thousand compared to 5 million. Do the math. I understand it may take a while.

    3. bush_cheney2004

Explain the math to all those dead Nunavut infants.   It will take you a while.

    4. Omni

Nope, the numbers are quite easy. I'll give you a little longer if you need it.

  8. Theresa May: London terror attack shows Britain too tolerant of extremism

No.  There's not much tolerance for Islamic Extremism.

Your country is ruled by stupid liberals.

His supporters like to say Canada is back. Back to what? Pissing off our allies and trading partners? Insulting friendly dignitaries? I never knew those were cherished Canadian ideals.

Will lametti go for it?  Do they have the nerve?

two-thirds of Canadians believe SNC-Lavalin should be prosecuted, potentially resulting in a 10-year ban on the Quebec-based engineering company receiving public contracts.

Trudeau's new strategy:  he surrounds himself with supporters - who drown out questions he couldn't answer with cheers and applause.

If JT was so easy to outsmart, how come boy genius Kenney didn't stay in federal politics and show us how it's done?

If it's for the public interest, even if it's also for self-interest of being re-elected, that's okay.

CNN panel have a hard time wrapping their heads around that!

    It's so easy.

If you got rid of a menace or a corrupt person - don't politicians use that for their campaign???  Don't they brag about that achievement?  Doh?

    Even using quid pro quos!

Quid pro qups are common in politics and negotiations!  Look at NAFTA!  What did Trudeau tit-for-tatted - what did he give - that he wouldn't have NAFTA hanging around his neck during his campaign?

    1. BubberMiley

Still can't back up your claim that the Dems lied? I knew you would fail.

But what is Hunter Biden guilty of that Ivanka Trump is not?

      Got you again.

    2. bcsapper

It's no wonder they have a hard time wrapping their heads around it.  It's complete and utter bollocks.  I was listening to Dershowitz live on NPR and I was embarrassed for him.  I almost missed my turn.

      I wish he'd missed his.

    3. BubberMiley

Yes, if the president kills his opponent in an election for his self-interest, it is therefore in the national interest and allowed. Where did these people come from?

    Cheney asked from another poster:

No Bubb.  You're missing my point!  Read my point again (post #3)!

Deal with the message, not the poster.  This isn't a Trump update.

Watch your language.......or you'll get deleted again.

Do you want a SOCIALIST government?

Do you want to end up with the worst of all -  Socialist/Liberal coalition?

Think about that.   Don't vote with your emotions.   Vote sensibly.   Don't base your decision around your hatred for the guy next door.

This is about your own house - not the neighbour's.

Obviously you're not, and you're not afraid to show it. Well done.

GOP win where Trump held recent rallies!

No wonder Trump was really trying to cram as much as he can in the last few days!   Such stamina!

Is Bannon-Frum debate televised?  Yep.   On CPAC at 7 pm tonight.

The Munk Debate on Populism will be streaming live on this page on Friday, November 2 at 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

The debate is also airing live on CPAC TV in Canada, as well as streaming on Facebook Live.

      noun: populism
      1. support for the concerns of ordinary people.

Is this really how Fidel Castro looked like - or this photo was "fixed?"

    2. betsy

This article explains why the rumor circulating now (because of the alleged suicide note of Fidelito), cannot be true.

Justin was already born before the said visit to Cuba.

No, Justin Trudeau is not Fidel Castro’s son

No word from Trudeau about the KSA.

Like the deer  got caught in the headlights?

    Afraid to say anything?

Now I know why our Cabinet Ministers had to go to Washington to "lay the gorund works" for this upcoming meeting.

"The official versions of the calls have noted the usual niceties exchanged between world leaders and mutual invitations for visits.

But in a long interview Trudeau gave in December to a Montreal radio station, he hinted that the atmosphere on the Trump call may not have been as warm as expected. "

Read my first post again.  If you still can't figure it out - what more can I say?

    4. Omni

I don't think it's Bubber who's having the comprehension problem. You are assigning a lot of weight to an article which basically has none. But hang in there.

    Oh what a doober!

Dem Schumer asked chief justice to commit an INAPPROPRIATE action......just so to win their case against Trump!   Hahahahaha

“It would be inappropriate for me, an unelected official from a different branch of government, to assert the power to change that result so that the motion would succeed,” Roberts said.

hahahaha, I suppose the irony is lost on scumbag SCHUMER - and stupid anti-Trumps!   Hahahahaha

    1. BubberMiley

Just to help you out, Schumer did not ask Roberts "to do something inappropriate." He asked Robert's if he was aware of a precedent regarding a tie-breaking vote. Roberts responded that that precedent would not be appropriate in this situation, if there were a tie vote. Which there was not. So it was just hypothetical.

In other words, you seem to have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. And "doober" is slang for marijuana cigarette, so you even got that wrong.

Glad to be of service, once again.

    2. OftenWrong

Good job, Betsy! You called 'em out. It's awesome to watch Dems and their liberal supporters whining and flailing about as they go down, down, down.

    3. Shady

Democrats are used to activist judges.  They’re not used to judges actually acting within their proper authority.
