Trump only plays golf - and you.

Ps. The person who drew this was fired for it.

    He was fired?  GOOD!

I say good, not because I support censorship .....but.....

.....for trashing the outlet on which it was published.

That cartoon is based on an out-of-context narrative willfully intended to vilify Trump......and INFLUENCE readers against him!  The cartoonist had abused his power.

People have now a very low opinion of media, and no reputable publisher would want to be associated with any fake news!  The cartoonist had made a wrong move by creating such drivel. He picked the wrong time for it! :)

Despite not exactly supporting the values of Christianity or respecting probably any of the ten commandments, would you still call him a Christian?

I don't know much about him except what we read in the news.  Yeah, most of them are controversies - what about the good in him?   Are they published?

What's different about him and practicing gays, adulterers, or humans who sin ............ like me?  Who doesn't sin?

Who's to judge?  GOD!  So, I'll leave the judging to Him.

Question, who's going to pay for it?

California to be first state to provide healthcare to undocumented immigrants

California is poised to become the first US state to offer government-provided healthcare to some immigrants who are in the country illegally.

It's here already, am I right?

Don't we provide healthcare even to illegals?

Just as you aren't a practitioner of Christianity any more, as you still refer to the Old Testament for your beliefs,

Who sez?   You? What do you know?

Btw, a lot of the Old Testament still stands - like the 10 Commandments.

even though the coming of Christ fulfilled the Old Testament and brought in a new era of acceptance, love

That's based from ignorance.  Many liberals also want to take the New Testament out of context!

What "new era" are you on about?  God conforming to modern times?

Do you think Jesus changed the Laws of God?   Do you know that according to Jesus - just lusting in your mind is also considered adultery?

And, what context of peace are you referring to?

    Matthew 10

32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn

    “‘a man against his father,
        a daughter against her mother,
    a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—

36     a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’[c]

37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.

What "acceptance"  do you mean?  Like, accept what is abhorrent to God, like abortion as an example - or, same-sex marriage.......because it's politically correct?  You think Christianity is all-inclusive?

    2 Cor 6

14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

    “I will live with them
        and walk among them,
and I will be their God,

and they will be my people.”[c]

    17 Therefore,

    “Come out from them
        and be separate,

    says the Lord.
    Touch no unclean thing,

        and I will receive you.”[d]

    18 And,

“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,

    says the Lord Almighty.”[e]

    and non-judgment?

What non-judgement?   How do you think we choose between right and wrong?   Through discernment and judgement!

You must mean.....to not be "judgmental."  That's different.   We can point out whats right and wrong - but, we cannot say who deserves hell or punishment.

If a government or a cleric supports or proposes a law that, for instance, victimizes women or children or gay people or non-believers, and justifies that law as "Islamic" based on something in the Quran, the Hadith or the Sunnah, then I suppose I will have to agree with Islam's detractors that Islam as a religion is barbaric, backward and ignorant.  Now, personally, I don't want to do that simply because I know too many Muslims who are the opposite of barbaric, backward and ignorant.   The only way I can support my Muslim family and friends is to 'decide what befits the law and what doesn't.'

They aren't really practitioners of Islam any longer.

Why is it okay for your hero, Trump, to be the most UNDIPLOMATIC country leader in our lifetime, but Prime Minister Zoolander cannot?

Why do you practice such blatant double standards when it comes to the political arena? Are you really this self-unaware?

I'm talking about Trudeau doing a drive-by pot shot at Trump during the primary election - and after Trump had won!

Lol,  Jason Kenney described Trudeau accurately!  Why would Trudeau openly take  the side of an outgoing President (Obama/Biden) when he knew very well that he'd be dealing with the new one?

Trudeau had opened himself up to be a pawn by Biden/Obama when Biden came to Canada (just as Trump had just won the presidency)!   Lol.   What was the praise Biden heaped on him, which he obviously lapped at?

The designated "torch-bearer" of Obama.

Looks like everybody's playing Trudeau like a giddy harp.   Even today as we speak.   I'd love to be a fly on the wall and listen to Trump and Xi talk about Trudeau!

Can you list reasons you don't like him that are not about his personality or looks?

I believe how Kenney described him!  It clearly shows.

Jason Kenney Says The Prime Minister Has 'Political Depth Of A Finger Bowl'

Kenney noted that Trudeau served as opposition critic while he was immigration minister — a tenure where the Liberal MP came under fire for saying comments "off the top of [his] head."

"I know Justin. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing. This guy is an empty trust-fund millionaire who has the political depth of a finger bowl," Kenney told Bell.

"He can't read a briefing note longer than a cocktail napkin, O.K."

Lol.  Just the way he  UNDIPLOMATICALLY  handled Trump at the start, is a testament!  Followed by that silly tweet inviting all refugees to come to Canada (which was really meant as a jab at Trump).....how's that for starters?

He's got a very big mouth!

Trudeau has cleaned up a lot of messes previous governments swept under the rug. The plastics are being dealt with now.

He cleaned up nothing.   But he'll be cleaning out Canada in no time, just the same way Wynn had cleaned out Ontario!

The plastics?   Why only now?    What took him so long?  He has no choice.  The Philippines didn't want to wait for his turtle pace - the shipment is coming!  The plastic scandal is showing his hypocrisy.

  9. 14 hours ago, marcus said:

You're going to blame Trudeau for something done by a private company during the Harper government. A company that no longer exists? Political hacks do that.

....of course I'm blaming Trudeau.   He's the one currently in office - why did it take the Philippines to make ultimatums for him to respond.  And, now Malaysia!    Why drag his heels?

So what if  it's a private company, and that it no longer exist?   Lol!  Is that an excuse?  Pathetic.

Trudeau is the one who puffs about an emergency on climate change, right?    Pollution is no longer free - that's the McKenna mantra!   THE SKY IS FALLING!

If that's so...... what about those tons of plastics?   Does he want them to end in the ocean?

  10. Btw.....

More than 200 people will gather in downtown Beijing to celebrate Canada’s 152nd birthday with the Canada Day in Beijing Gala Dinner on June 21, 2019! The evening will feature the very best of Canadian lobster, beef, and wines and lively entertainment with Madame et son Orchestre and Janaia.

Will the two Canadian prisoners be allowed to attend?

  11. Well....I'm still amused by that pile of plastic garbage we dumped in Asia.  What does Trudeau expect them to do - dump them in the ocean?   And Trudeau dragged his heels in picking them up (I hope he gets the bill big-time)!   After all, pollution isn't free anymore - right, McKenna?

Carbon tax update: Looks like there will be an increase with this carbon tax.  That's the report that came out from the Budget Officer - not any Conservative politicians.

Surprise?  Nope.  With all the spending they're doing, he needs to get his hands on serious money!

  12. Yes, McKenna - pollution is no longer free!   The Philippines and Malaysia should bill Canada for the mountain of plastic dumped in those countries!

What does McKenna and her boss expect these countries to do with those plastics?  Dump them in the ocean?

Hypocrisy is the name of the game.  Carbon tax is just a ......money grab!

Well we know why the Liberals bailed. A trial would have shown  the Liberal government has hidden documents from Norman and the courts-to be specific , suppressed and continue to suppress  evidence that would have been used to  exonerate the admiral and show the move to Irving shipyards was purely political in motivation and lacked merit.

It's also has very much to do with the timing of the trial.

Imagine having that thing going - something so similar with SNC-Lavalin, during campaign time!

Take note, the charges have not been dropped.   It's been stayed - which means it can be reopened within a year.   Imagine that like the sword of Damocles hanging over Norman's head for a year?

Singling out Norman (from 73 names mentioned), and having him go through all that just because of doing his job (as explained by Jason Kenney, who was involved with this affair), it's like someon in the PMO/Privy Council, is being so petty waging a vendetta against Norman.

Also, what's Brison's role in this?  He quit politics for a good reason, I bet!

I bet Norman will talk - at a very opportune timing, too!  Keep it close to election time. I hope so.  It's for the best interest of Canada!

    You are a pathetic thinker.

You don't think at all, French Patriot.

I think I owe a little explanation.  Do you get why I say RealityCheck's post is based on ignorance?   That he didn't get the OP?  here's what he responded to:

Abortion is here to stay.  No one will really try to bring this up.....so why make an issue of it?

We have to.  It may be legal now to slaughter our unborn even for no reason than just to say because I want to....... but that shouldn't mean we have to tolerate it without voicing out our disapproval,  that we are strongly opposed to it, in fact.

Atheist/secular anti-abortionists, see it as a human right violation  - and they fight it on that ground.

We Christians, fight it on the ground that it goes against Biblical teachings. We share a common goal.  To be the voice for the defenseless unborn.

Even if it's now legal to murder a child, keeping the issue alive may help a woman struggling with her decision,  to do what is only righteous.

Talking about it, still, saves lives.

Now, read that, and understand what is being said.   Take your time.

Realitycheck's response to it, is irrelevant - he's simply gone ballistic!  Since you liked his response - you therefore failed to even see that not only was his response irrelevant - but, he also was arguing out of ignorance.  Now, what does that say about you?

Be satisfied that at least, I'd indulged you both with some precious time.

This is the standard reply from a religious nut. I bet you didn't even read the link, which was all biblical quotes I'll bet lunch you have never seen before. A few examples: "

    • The gruesome priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31).

    • God enumerated his punishments for disobedience, including "cursed shall be the fruit of your womb" and "you will eat the fruit of your womb," directly contradicting sanctity-of-life claims (Deuteronomy 28:18,53).

    • Elisha's prophecy for soon-to-be King Hazael said he would attack the Israelites, burn their cities, crush the heads of their babies and rip open their pregnant women (2 Kings 8:12).

And those are the same old so-called "evidence" usually given by  atheist idiots!

I imagine they all came from the same pro-choice atheists sites (but of course, it's like the blind leading the blind).....

Here....let me illustrate why those are standard arguments from idiots......

Those cherry-picked verses (which are taken out of context),  does not mean you can freely kill the unborn anytime you want, and for no other reason than just.....because!

    2 Kings 8

Because I know the harm you will do to the Israelites,” he answered. “You will set fire to their fortified places, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women.”

2 Kings 8 didn't only talk about killing children, but also killing pregnant women!  Because it happened in the OT, do religious people believe that's it's okay to kill people? Duh.

How many men and women were  killed as punishment by God?  Hello?   You're saying just because that happened in the Old testament, therefore it's okay to kill men and women!  Same thing.

Shows you.....you got it all wrong.   That's what happens when you cherry-pick verses without understanding them!

Likely because he and his wife think they should decide what they wish to do with their bodies and lives and not have you tell them what to do with them.

Would you like to be told how to live your private life?

Would you encourage your daughter to have a child after being raped?

Would you be the proud grandmother of a rapists offspring? Would you tell that child how he or she came to be, especially if it was not daddy's color, should your daughter be lucky enough to child find a husband in a world where 50% of all households are manned by single women?

Would you subject yourself to such a life?

I do not expect an honest answer.

Then, do what they want with their bodies! Doh.   Lol.  Why does it matter what I say?  What - am I holding them hostage?

If they're going to be bothered by my talking against abortion - then it means, my opinion means so much to them!

Do as I do!  I don't care about your opinion since I know they're mostly based on ignorance anyway!  At least, I directed you to another thread that explains abortion on Christian grounds - where I'm coming from!

Freedom of speech/opinion rings a bell with you, guys?

Let's discuss the weird reactions, instead.  That's what I find intriguing......it's the same exploding reaction from some atheists in another forum, having a major melt-down over a simple Easter greeting from a Christian to fellow-Christians! giggle.gif

It's quite weird when someone suddenly comes angrily on this thread and starts exploding without even understanding what he quoted!    It makes me think of missed meds.

Too many liberals give arguments based on ignorance - Realitycheck's ignorance of the OP is an example!  And, that's just the OP which he did not really comprehend!  lol, When you missed the OP - what have you got?   And here you come, too.....on his heels!  Like you two are tied together, or something!  I guess you think there's strength in numbers, eh?   Doesn't always work in a forum, my friend!

Then he started bringing up the Bible, too!  You guys are so funny......  smiley.gif

Not yours, not mine, not government's and certainly not the purveyors of primitive superstitions.

    Boy.   You seem angry.

You're just one among many of those I've dealt with - using the same ignorant cliche.

Nah.   Not gonna waste my time on you.  Just reading your post above already tells me you're not worth it.
