CAS closed Christian's foster home over Easter Bunny...no kidding!

Not sure what is really happening here, that sounds like one account.
the Hamilton CAS had said it expected staff and foster parents to put their "personal beliefs and values aside" when caring for children who are coming from "different settings."
That sounds like the other perspective. Foster care is by definition a temporary situation where the care providers are paid to do a job.
They are not paid to believe in the Easter Bunny. Their Charter Rights were violated by CAS over the "Easter Bunny".
So I take it if a Muslim works in a department store and is asked to put up Christmas decorations then they can refuse.
