  1. That’s because Trump is a tw&t and disgusting character. Just 48 hours ago on his speech he said everybody is ok and everything is under control and just this morning blaming the spread on Europeans admitting people from China and other hotspots...The guy does not have a single bit of integrity.....
  2. Good riddance....I am not normally in favour of cursing ordinary people but the fewer Mullahs and their apparatus are alive the more Iranians will prosper. This regime has no mercy for Iranian people. Whilst Iranians are suffering they are supplying aid to Iraqis. Not that there's anything wrong with this but they have completely got their priority wrong. I have not shy away from expressing my opinion on this forum and being critical of the policies of Netanyahu. But Kudos to him and I respect his decision to quarantine people who come to visit Israel for 14 days. It shows that he ca
  3. From the strategic viewpoint there's a matrix law that defines the correlation of Interest and Power. In Iran this Matrix is eschwed towards high power and low interest level...This is why when you give too much power to an ayatollahs instead of think tanks dictatorship will ensue. That's what is screwing the country with the Coronavirus spread when the power and fate of Iranians are in the hand of one Ayatollah currently in hiding to avoid catching the virus....That said the medical team and staff are doing a sterling job to save lives despite medical sanctions imposed by the US on one hand a

  6. Exactly! A large proportion of NHS nurses and staff in UK are immigrants predominantly from non EU countries and they have done a fantastic job to keep it going.
  7. There’s no silver lining that tells us Brexit will do well for all the brits and no doubt the middle and working class will take the heat in the first couple of years.....When you don’t have the EU as a major trading partner then of course you will have to give “brownie points” to Americans, Chinese and commonwealth to make up for the loss of EU trade. This of course depends on how negotiations will unfold with EU over the next 11 months before UK becomes autonomous from EU....
  8. Not that in any way this is relevant to this topic but is just my own personal experience. I had a German girl friend several years ago. She used to tell me that it is not fair for her generation to take burden of responsibility for what their grandparents and forefathers did more than 70 years ago. In a sense I share her sentiment that the new generation of Germans cannot be blamed for what has already happened. Nevertheless the atrocities of 1930’s are monumental moments in history that must not be forgotten. Never again
  9. Others died in the process but still does not negate the fact that many allies including civilians , Russians, gypsies, etc lost lives. It was inevitable and must not be forgotten.
  10. Interesting article...IMO this is not enough to decipher who is lying and who isn’t. I mean how many times do you see people get away fooling the lie detector machines. People learn not to fidget, look away as a mechanism to come across as genuine and you could potentially see this happening at airports. Perhaps the amateurs fail the test but he ones that have the intention may get away with the lie. In short....observation of human behaviour may be a better technique to sift through more bad apples but IMO it can still fail when these techniques are available to the public domain....
  11. What is it with this leftist analogy as if anyone with such political alienation is not allowed to express an opinion! It has nothing to do with leftists......Corbyn didn’t get the vote and UK has a right wing tory government implementing Brexit in less than two days as a matter of speaking. That’s what democracy is. I would say Britain is doing pretty well even if it contradicts your political inclination.
  12. My bad. I meant Vice President Bush senior that subsequently took office from Reagan. Here's what he had said: Full article: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2014/07/the-vincennes-downing-of-iran-air-flight-655-the-united-states-tried-to-cover-up-its-own-destruction-of-a-passenger-plane.html No one is disputing the recent event that occurred over the shooting of the Ukrainian airliner by the Iranian government. They have admitted to it. I think you should take out the element of comparing the two events and evaluate each on its own merits. 7
  13. In all honesty BC why should that come as a surprise to you to score over liberals!?
  14. What Eyeball is referring to is that it took the US government 8 years under the Clinton administration In 2006 to apologise for wrongfully shooting down an Iranian passenger plane in 1988. George senior Bush back then said he would never apologise regardless of the facts available regarding the shooting. That’s a fact. It was under Clinton compensation was paid to those grieving families....
  15. Good question and I wouldn't know the answer. Both planes were shot at different times One by Americans one by Iranian government apparently by their own admittance. End results loss of many passenger lives mainly Iranians. US government did eventually pay 62 mil dollars for 248 lives. Was it worth it? Absolutely not to the point that it is non sensical to talk about this human tragedy with compensation. Trudeau paid tribute to the loss of lives and made allocation of compensating their families for the plane shot down earlier this month. But the question is why are the mullahs in Iran not pa
  16. So based on this logic those people who come from Middles East that use Hebrew, Farsi, Turkish or Arabic are economically less successful immigrants in Canada just because they are from Middle East and don't use Roman alphabet? Really!? is that your benchmark to assess if someone is a successful immigrant? That doesn't make sense....A university credential is based on its academic achievements, number of pupils in employment, amount of money it spends on research and development..... That is regardless if this university is in a third world country or a developed country. There
  17. That is true. But the US did finally pay compensation to the families of those Iranian passengers whose flight was shot down by the US in 1988. Can’t say the same about ayatollahs who have so far not acknowledged paying compensation for the Ukrainian plane shot down earlier this month.
  18. Open ended questions will not have the desired effect when it comes to screening people let alone terrorists....Screening out a terrorist requires expertise and experience that is too much to ask from an immigration officer. There’s no fast rule around this. Heck if it was meant to be so easy lots of terrorist acts could have been avoided. Then comes the question of home grown terrorism. Someone like acting out of mental health problem harming others. How on earth can airport security detect a terrorist like Anders Breivik with those far right ideologies killing so many people? He could have b

  20. I do not have a military background but was alarmed when I came across this article from June 2019. This article is from June 2019 when the US had a cyber attack on IRGC's system back then. Actually this was the first thing that came to mind when the Ukrainian flight was downed in Tehran this month....But Iran has officially denied the possibility of a cyber attack already. Or is it because the air defence is already vulnerable? http://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2019/06/23/u-s-attacks-iran-with-cyber-not-missiles-a-game-changer-not-a-backtrack/amp/ It raises two question
  21. That may well be the assumption on Markle outside of UK but as was already pointed the story was kept outside British press and public at large. Markle was not welcome into the royal family to the point that it became apparent she is an outsider.
  22. Why should the world care what happens with impeachment!?!? It’s a domestic matter the senate needs to iron out based on the evidence.....Although with the republicans representing the house of senate I doubt this would be the case.....Let’s see how this show trial pantomime will unfold....
