  1. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry to the nation. I am so sorry that the NDP is allowed to get away with ignoring our allies in Israel who are fighting on the front lines against terror every single day!"
  2. Who needs international credability when you can support a geopolitically worthless (to Canada) 'ally" with a questionable track record.
  3. By which metric? The Bryan Coefficient? Lets see, China (0% unionization) vs Canada (30%), who has a better standard of living I wonder?
  4. Yes, lets give this rabidly ideological government the right to revoke citizenship if it considers something to be "terrorism". Lookout all you eco-terrorists, your days waving those banners of mass destruction are limited.
  5. Why would he turn down a position at what is widely considered one the best institutions in the world?
  6. I wouldn't call taking a break from solid foods a "Hunger Strike".
  7. In general, he and his party's open disdain for workers, the environment, and science. I also view him as a coward as he won't give his honest opinion on social and health policies.
  8. Ridiculous hyperbole. It's people like you who are at fault for the current situation. You prevent any form of rational discussion on the issue, and rabidly attack any proposed changes. The current system has never worked. The current system will never work. The current system is a failure in every measurable metric. It's decades past the time when we should have abandoned it for the system that has worked far better in the case of every single minority group subject to it, equality.
  9. Chretien should have followed through with his white paper, things would be better for all parties involved.
  10. Just like how 'no one credible' said the f-35s would cost more than 9 billion right?
  11. http://www2.macleans.ca/2011/02/15/pbo-projects-10-billion-structural-deficit/ Yep, no one.
  12. We have to do something to get out of yet another structural deficit brought on us by the reckless economic experiments of the conservatives.
  13. How dare they not be shills for wing nuts like yourself, by all means shut them down immediately!
  14. It's now ticked up to 83.7%, likely due to favorable polls for Obama in key swing states. I'm feeling a real sense of desperation from republicans as of late, and its clear the efforts from the Romney campaign are, at this point, more attempts at rather than anything substantial.
  15. Maybe it just changed, but I see a 98% chance of an Obama win in Michigan.
  16. Shall I expect you to echo similar sentiments when you come upon someone spouting "Adscam! Adscam! Adscam!" in defense of some Con shadiness?
  17. Shocking. I'm shocked. Literally shocked. I mean, who would have thunk that the Con's reckless tax giveaways and gambling on natural resource prices would result in an unslayable deficit. Certainly not me.
  18. As a British Columbian I'm rather confused, because, as I understand it, there are countless of unemployed miners in BC who would jump at such an opportunity. Even if there weren't I'm sure some of BC's tens of thousands of unemployed would been keen to take advantage of an opportunity to learn a skilled trade. Seems to me that the Cons are putting the interests of Chinese foreigner's ahead of those of British Columbian's and Canaidan's as a whole.
  19. Harper's good at playing the 'Me' generation, I'll give him that.
  20. Yes, and it's up to society to weight the risks versus benefits. The people of BC have resoundingly stated the benefits of such a pipeline, of which there are none, do not outweigh the risk of environmental catastrophe. The teachers of BC are right to explain why the people of BC have come to this conclusion.
  21. "I don't pay more than are legally due and frankly if I had paid more than are legally due I don't think I'd be qualified to become president" -Mittens I couldn't agree more.
  22. Are they using imperial or metric economic freedom units?
