We the people of Canada DEMAND change in Government. We the people of Canada demand that the government that belongs to us and to whom we lend our democratic power to lead this country and to sit in opposition, change the laws that govern the behaviour of those politicians that take the oath of office. We are tired of the way that parties spend our hard-earned tax dollars on things that do not benefit this country. We are tired of the lies by all parties and we are tired of the personal agendas that you all bring into the house of commons instead of working toward

For those that argue against 'taxes' as though they are a burden, I thought of this analogy when responding to something Betsy here said in her blog space here. Taxi services are business entities meant to get people from one place to another and its name is derived from the nature of one to be charged for a ride. However, because one cannot know how far a trip is, often many pay AFTER they reach their destination. One against taxes is often one who reverses how they pay for their 'ride': UP FRONT. Because one can afford the expense, they are confident of paying for the trip ahead of time

I would like to know if anybody else has had a similar experience. I have recently bought an used camera on ebay.com I paid $1000 for the product, $60 for shipping which is high but I accepted that. and additional to it $80 for import taxes to bring it to Canada. All that I agreed to pay. No problem with that. My problem is that after a month I received an invoice from FedEx ground for $222.30. Thinking it was a mistake I called them and explained that I have already paid for shipping but they said that was also for importation I told them on ebay you paid that in advance and I am not pay

Whoever wins the election should charge all foreign visitors a $100 entrance tax per every month they remain in Canada unless and until they leave or become a resident. This money could then subsidize our school system which has been getting way too many budget cuts. Our kids need to come first. What say you all?

The Fraser Institute is out with a report on the taxes have/are paying since 1961-2014 and its increase to 1832% of which 1375% for housing, 620% for clothing, 546% for food. The average Canadian earned $77,381 and paid out 32,369. in taxes. I don't think most of Canadians make the 77,381, unless, they are out west in the gas and oil or is a professional like doctors, lawyers, etc. So, it seems the Liberals, the PC's and the Conservatives have been raising taxes, federally but don't we all know that?? So when they say they are cutting taxes, they cut small in one area and double in anoth

(The article that started all of this you will find at the bottom of this composition) Without any further delay, get ready to feast your eyes: One of Canada's Elected Officials Is Fired Up Over My Articles On Land Claims (Out of respect for this individual, I have messaged them explaining that I will not include their name in what I am about to share with the public. If this person writes me back telling me that it is ok with them, I will come back and gladly edit their name in) This is what the elected official just sent: Subject: Re: Does Chief Theresa Spence Pay Taxes Like Canadian Citi

Surely the timing of the surplus is suspect. Just in time for a federal election. It will be hard for the opposition to compete on the economic file. http://looniepolitics.com/harper-shows-horses-next-election/
