Anti-western, anti-jew sentiment alive and well in Canada.

I understand that the French speaking culture and first Nation cultures are Canadian.

Must be the nightI just spent in a house without power. For the first time, I believe you wrote something that made sense.

But then I read the rest of your rant, and I realise that you're back to your old self, not getting as usual, as demonstrate by...

But maybe you can tell me why these cultures are NOT free flowing cultures?

Actually, they ARE free-flowing. Canadians are free to identify to them, or not. I know you miss the good old day when Aborigianl schoolkids were sent to resdiential schools and French was banned from the public realm, but we are in 2009, not in 50000000 BC.

You will of course scream "subsidies"... and ignore that such subsidies are also given to English-speaking cultural organizations.

And you will probably come again with some grandiose non-sense, like arguing that I should blame myself if the government tried to assimilate my ancestors, since they should have just assimilated themselves.

News to you, as YOU acknowledged, I don't need to assimilate into any culture other than my own to have a Canadian culture.

So, was it (the idiotic "free flowing white english christian culture", whatever the fuck that is) destroyed or wasnt it?

The free flowing White, English Christian culture is plainly the majority culture of Canada.

We have to be descriptive in order to impress that Canada does and always did have a majority culture other than the culture of ethnic immigrants, the culture of the French and the culture of the Aboriginals.

And yes, Trudeau's policies discriminated and greatly eroded the majority culture with uncontrolled ethnic immigration, the Official Languages Policy, the Multicultural Policy and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

This resulted in the legal discrimination against Canada's White, English speaking, Christian majority culture that never required discriminatory government policies to flourish.

Trying to bring aboard incapacitated subcultures in order to create a strong Canadian society with common values is not a criminal offense.

Not to the tune of One Trillion dollars.

This is what it cost just to maintain official bilingualism to date and from what I heard a further 17-billion dollars per year to maintain official bilingualism.

Yes, that is one of the imposed dictated rights under official multiculturalism.

No wonder the country is screwed up.

Nobody is denying that English is the language of a majority of Canadians. But then, most of us do not engage in delusions, unlike you.

The so-called discrimination is a figment of your imagination. What is not a figment of anyone's imagination is the fact that there have been at various points during out histories government policies aimed at assiimilating French-speaking Canadians and Aboriginal Canadians.

The only one accusing anyone else of any crime is you... until now. I believe this sentence of yours to be a crime against logic and the English language. :P

Yes, that is one of the imposed dictated rights under official multiculturalism.

So, my culture is Canadian (YOU admitted it), but my right as a Canadian to choose it is an "imposed" right.

You are getting tiresome. Why don't you rant against other "dictated" rights, for a change? You know, for example, women's right to vote, or freedom of religion. If you were in the US, I'd suggest to rant against the "imposed" rights of Blacks to sit at the front of the bus.

No wonder LEAFLESS is screwed up.

Sounds a lot more accurate to me.

Does the majority English speaking culture contain legislated government rights that discriminate against minorities? Of couse not and never did.

Well minorities do have government legislated legal rights that discriminate against the English speaking majority culture.

Read the Charter.

What is not a figment of anyone's imagination is the fact that there have been at various points during out histories government policies aimed at assiimilating French-speaking Canadians and Aboriginal Canadians.

So what.

What else is the country suppose to do with incapacitated minority cultures?

Nope.

It is just your inability to understand an English sentence.

So, my culture is Canadian (YOU admitted it), but my right as a Canadian to choose it is an "imposed" right.

Proof again you can't read.

Womens right to vote is applicable to ALL Canadians as is freedom of religion.

Relating to Blacks.

There is a difference between racial discriminating and some Canadians that receive cultural rights and others that do not.

Show me universal human rights legislation that says all cultures must be equal.

Sounds a lot more accurate to me.

Altering the post of other members is against forum rules.

I gave read it, often, and that's why I know that there is nothing in that that discriminates against anybody. But then, I read the French and English version, that one in Leafless-ish probably says something different.

So what.

What else is the country suppose to do with incapacitated minority cultures?

Respect the rights of Canadians.

Nope.

It is just your inability to understand an English sentence.

The only thing common to English and the language you write in is the letters used.

Proof again you can't read.

Same old Leafless. Everytime you're confronted with your own contradictions, it's the others who cannot read.

Womens right to vote is applicable to ALL Canadians as is freedom of religion.

And so is the right of all Canadians to decide for themselves what Canadian language they'll use in dealing with the federal government.

There is a difference between racial discriminating and some Canadians that receive cultural rights and others that do not.

Yet, you advocate denying the rights of people belonging to minority Canadian cultural and linguistic groups.

Ever read this?

States shall protect the existence and the national or ethnic, cultural, religious and linguistic identity of minorities within their respective territories and shall encourage conditions for the promotion of that identity.
Show me universal human rights legislation that says all cultures must be equal.

The only person here claiming the issue is about equality (or lack thereof) between culture is you. It is not, it is about the equal rights of all Canadians, something you wrongly assume to exist when people are made to think the same way, adopt the same cultural practices and speak the same language.

You claim that equality of rights between Canadians discriminates against you? Prove it. You claim that the Charter is a discriminatory document, prove it by showing the exact words in it that you believe result in discrimination against you.

The anti-Jew sentiment is alive and well in the Canadian left wing socialist circles as we have seen by the anti semetic comments made by socialist and labour movement leader Sid Ryan. It's really too bad as I would've thought that we as Canadians have moved passed a time where our leaders made anti-Jewish statements publicly. The conservatives have gotten the message and are allies and champions of the Jews. The left wing socialists are still harbouring a resentment of Canadian Jews and it is quite deplorable behavior.

Do I have to remind you of what you yourself said, again?

I just wish the socialist arena could live and let live and not hold contempt for the Jewish Community. They've been through enough throughout the years without left leaning Canadians berating them and undermining their struggle. Very sad indeed.

N ot too long ago, you were accusing Israel of being an Apartheid state, and calling supporters of israel "socialists". Not too long ago, you said that you did not care If Jews and Muslims killed each others, and that anyway it would lead to more conversion. Not too long ago, you were repeating that innacurate and grossly anti-semitic statement "The Jews killed Jesus". So excuse me if I find it laughable when you denounce that who, too use your own words, "hold contempt for the Jewish community".

Don't be upset because one of your leaders puts his foot in his mouth and one of you leaders gets caught with his pants down. It leaves you nothing to say to me but attack my character. Hilarious, you're in fact speechless.

Sid Ryan is not one of my leader in any way, shape or form, especially when he makes a fool of himself. As for "attacking your character", I am merely pointing out that you had said more, and worse, about Jews that Sid Ryan.

Sid Ryan is a leader of the left, just as Buzz Hargrove is and as Jack Layton is. Sid Ryan, as a leader of the socialist movement in Canada speaks for you all. Even if you try to deny it. He represents millions of Canadians and therefore speaks for millions of socialist Canadians. Just as when Jack Layton speaks, he speaks for you too. These people are your movements leaders. Defend your leader Sid Ryan please, don't try to smear me.

Since these are union people, doesn't that mean they speak for you too?

Nope, he speaks for CUPE and for the socialist movement in general. I was working for the Teamsters but I've resigned as of last week. I'm going to work for a more positive group. I'm tired of arguing everyday. It's beginning to make me bitter.

Some of my opinions are to the right of centre, some to the left. Must mean both Steven Harper and Sid Ryan are my leaders, right? What a load of non-sense.

I KNOW Sid Ryan did not speak for me when he called for a boycott of Israel, because I did not share his view. No if, no but, no and. He does NOT speak for me, period.

Defend your leader Sid Ryan please
And why would I defend someone who I know is wrong?
don't try to smear me.

By pointing at anti-Israeli and anti-Jewish statements YOU have made? Don't blame me if the truth hurts.
