A solution for health care?

Recommended Posts

Didn't know it was NDP policy to eliminate funding for amateur athletes.

It isn't. It is my policy to make sometimes tough decisions the country never wants to make. When the Liberals cut funding to medical care in the 90's but ramped fishing subsidies at the sametime killing sustainable fisheries I thought they were making a political decision not a tough one.

You have? The Federal government has cut medical care in the country non stop the last 35 years so when have you seen it? Never? Ohhh good glade we cleared that one up.

Harper increased funding to quebec, (not for health care but a transfer non the less) what did Charest do imediatly lower provincial taxes and call an election.

Glad we cleared up the "poltical" reality as apposed to the "political" dream.

Yes I agree if you give a province a big lump some of money and say "do whatever you want with it" it will be used to buy votes. That isn't what we are talking from the time the Feds started cutting health care funding the quality of care has gone down. You are just wrong.

Thats what a health transfer is, a big lump sum of money given yearly to be spent however in "healthcare". Funding hasn't been cut since Martin last cut it down yet the quality of care is still sliding.

You'll have to be specific what you mean there.
