Your version of events is severely skewed... pretty clear that he was minding his own business until Zimmermen came along.

Were you there yourself or are you just taking it for granted what the media is saying what happened?

He stalked him for no reason.... and even the 911 operator told him not to... and Trayvon Martin got shot...

It isn't difficult to see who caused the entire "incident".

He didn't 'stalk' him, another myth. Some more info here if you want to listen.

This is interesting in light of the reports about burglaries in the area but the judge rules that this et al were not relevant. I have read that Trayvon had been suspended for assaulting a teacher at his high school but,the teacher was pressured into staying quiet.

I had also read about the pot in the bag from other sources but they didn't mention the jewellery etc.

Agree the pot is irrelevant but the jewellery etc. ?

Instead the officer reported he found women’s jewelry and a screwdriver that he described as a “burglary tool,” according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald. Word of the incident came as the family’s lawyer acknowledged that the boy was suspended in February for getting caught with an empty bag with traces of marijuana, which he called “irrelevant” and an attempt to demonize a victim.

Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds.

Trayvon was asked if the jewelry belonged to his family or a girlfriend.

This guy nails it as he tells the truth about Trayvon Martin and what he calls the ‘wretched lynching’ of George Zimmerman.

From the sound of it neither were saints and perhaps both were spoiling for a fight. That leaves plenty of reasonable doubt on murder.

A Florida woman has been sentenced to 20 years for firing a warning shot into the ceiling in an attempt to protect herself from her abusive husband.

Florida-- where shooting a black teenager gets you no jail time, but shooting your ceiling gets you 20 years.

That's just FUBAR.

She's going to get a new trail.

A woman sentenced to 20 years in prison after firing a "warning shot" during an argument with her abusive husband won a new trial on Thursday in a case under Florida's controversial self-defense law.

Hopefully this prompts a look at mandatory minimum sentences. It is good that they're taking a second look at this case, but I can't help wondering if it's just because this particular case generated a sufficient amount of outrage to make the justice system look bad.

This one case. How many others didn't get looked at again.

And how many have that you aren't aware of?

it was the pressure and the outrage from the public that got her a second trail. otherwise she was sentenced based on a stupid law that is obviously flawed.

All law is flawed to some extent. That is why morality does not come from law.
