Teachers brainwashing our children?

I'm not talking about dictatorship or a coup, I'm talking about taking over through democratic means. Kicking all the socialist, hug a thug, save a tree, kiss a jihadist and call him my brother politicians the hell out come election time. This naive line of thinking is going to get us killed.

Ah, so you want a democratic authoritarian regime.

Here is a direct quote of what GH said.

GH is saying right here that some of the people who are critical of the gay community may be gay themselves. So stop saying he didn't say that. It's right here in black and white.

Now, let's quote YOU:

So anyone who criticizes any aspect of homosexual life is probably gay or a homophobe? That's rich GH.

Obviously, as YOU have demonstrated just above, GH did not use the word anyone. It is right there. In black and white. Either you lack the capacity to differentiate the words some and anyone, or your wilfully dishonest.

So, there must be another person here using your monicker. Someone who venerates Franco, a dictator, and wishes we had leaders like him. Someone who has called for an authoritarian regime to ahem guide our youth. If I were you, I would demand that he stops using your screen name right here and now.

Lol....give me a break Canadien. I believe that most people have good and bad qualities.

For example I would like Canada to have a Minster which would decide which material is acceptable for our children to learn from and which are dangerous. Any material that could be construed as unpatriotic would be deemed unfit for our children. Hence illegal for our teachers to use on our young minds.

I would also bring in conscription. Making Military service mandatory after high school for a two-three year term for all youth. I think that would go a long way to make the new youth more appreciative and respectful of our veterans and their sacrifice. Not to mention it would bring youth a sense of self worth and self determination. Empowering them to do things for themselves instead of waiting for it to be handed to them.

These are just two examples of change that Canada needs.

Give US a break. What you admire in Franco is the bad side of him, the dictator side.

We already have ministries of Education in all provinces, and that's sufficient. admit it, your only problem with that is that the curriculum mmaterial is not sufficiently bigoted to your taste.

These are just two examples of change that Canada needs.

Along with a Franco-like regime, right?

No I like the fact that the man was a strong traditionalist and a devout Catholic. Spain flourished under his rule. Then the socialists took over and banned right wing politics altogether. As a result Spain is financially in t he toilet. just like many European countries who have had long sitting socialist governments.

Left wing people in Canada are complaining about a $50B dollar debt. Obama is raising the deficit in the US by $1.5 trillion each year. Why aren't the same people not complaining about that.

Some of the material has a strong socialist bend to it and it borders on being treasonous.

No. I would never agree with putting people in concentration camps or murdering people the way Franco did. He went too far.

Nope. Parties who have been complicit in the dictatorship were banned. You don't see the difference, your problem.

If it was treasonous or even borderline, it wouldn't be allowed. You do not know what you are talking about.

More and more every year the history of Canada lessons are being replaced. Soon our children won't know a thing about our proud Canadian heritage except where the welfare office is. That is treasonous.

Not only is your claim that "soon the only thing students will know about our proud heritage is where the welfare office is" a fallacy, but that you consider that would be treasonous proves that you have no clue about the meaning of the term. No surprise you that you clamour for an authoritarian regime then say that you don't favour a dictatorship - you don't know what you're talking about.

It's being called un Canadian to teach students about Canada's history. They say they're afraid of offending newcomers by teaching them Canadian history. This is an attack on Canada, an attack on Canada is an attack against the Government, an attack against the Government is an attack against the Queen. This is treason and the people who are legislating these changes are traitors who need to be brought to justice. Under my Canada they would be rounded up, tried and jailed.

I have seen people who opposeteaching Canadian history. And of course they are wrong. But I have never ever seen anybody call the teaching of our history un-Canadian. Guess this goes in the same category as the flying bodily fluids at the Gay Parade.

If you actually think it's treason, then, once again, you don't know what you're talking about.

As for attacks against Canada, if I were you I would first go against those who advocate an authoritian (in other word, dictatorial) government, something that would be contrary to and an attack against our democratic institutions and traditions, therefore against this country.

I've been informed by someone who shall remain anonymous that my questions are loaded and not deserving of an answer for that reason. I suppose I can stop holding my breath now.

LOL. Sounds like a certain someone who shall remain anonymous hasn't entirely made their choice. Not that there's anything wrong with that: human sexuality is a long, strange continuum and everyone needs to find their own way. It's just too bad that a certain someone who shall remain anonymous is having such a hard time with it that they need to lash out at those who are, shall we say, less confused.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. Although I get a kick out of your post, let's give a certain someone, who shall remain anonymous, the benefit of the doubt. If said person has kids, which I won't divulge for discretion, it's likely that (s)he is not gay. I just wanted to show this person that a homosexuals sexuality is no more a choice than a heterosexuals choice not to be gay. If heterosexuals don't choose not to be gay, and there's no doubt in my mind that they don't, then there's no reason to believe that homosexuals choose not to be straight.

Mr. Canada, you still haven't answered my question: do you make a conscious effort not to engage in homosexual behaviour?

If this is the question you are referring to, I disagree it is loaded, rather it is in the style of Socrates....your question's rapier like thrust skewered the logical error of his argument.

My guess is though, his answer would be yes....

spanish socialists banned rightwing politics? oh wait the christian conservative Partido Popular were in power from 1996 to 2004...Ireland is bad economic shape and the Irish voters just tossed the conservative Fianna Fail government out after being the ruling party for 61 of the last 79 years....greece is in the crapper not because of it's government but because greeks don't pay their taxes....

so enlighten us which long term socialist country is financially in the toilet? Norway? Sweden? Netherlands? Denmark?

No. I would never agree with putting people in concentration camps or murdering people the way Franco did. He went too far.
but yet you still enshrine his picture on your wall sorry that isn't in line with canadian values...canadians died fighting against people(adolf and benito)that shared franco's values...maybe you should go down to the local legion and ask the few remaining WW2 vets what they think of Franco's values... ya right  you go announce to everyone at the legion that you're a fascist, my dad a vet would've smacked you down for that, he did his best to kill as many as possible...

Indeed I am. I play in the dart league as well. I'm not a fascist and neither was Franco though I do like aspects of a strong authoritarian government to the wishy washy type governments we have in the western world. Our leaders are weak and afraid to go after the problems in our society because of political correctness. That is weak. Yep vets defended this country and now our government is allowing all our 'former' enemies to move to Canada legally. And pay them welfare and give them free healthcare with taxes that vets paid. Nice country. Canada is turning into a third world toilet not unlike the countries so many immigrants came from.

I'm getting the ipression that you might feel most at home in Iran or Saudi Arabia. All it would really require on your part is the acceptance of an extra prophet...

It's not political correctness, but democratic principles of accountablity and the partial forestalling of abuses of power. A decision has been made to have weaker governments (weaker by the standards you are using, at any rate). Intentionally, Mr. C, not because of "political correctness." (A profoundly overused term these days, particularly by cetain sectors of the Right.) And there's very good reason for weaker governments.

So you oppose immigration from Germany, Japan, Italy and other former members of the Axis and Central Powers?
