Looks fairly accurate.

What parts do you have a problem with?

All of it. Heather mallick is kooky, and I'm not surprised you agree with her bad mouthing this great country in a foreign newspaper. You're a typical NDPer,

Here is an article written by Heather Mallick. How can this woman be taken seriously? The sad thing is she is a hero to many on the left.

Have you noticed that even the Communist Broadcasting Corporation has punted her?

WOW!!! I didn't think the CBC had any common sense. Just shows you how "out there" Mallick is.At least she(hater) has battletoads support.

All of it eh?

So even the part where is says Harper won a majority on the 2nd of May?

Typical Conservative, crying about bias without and evidence of bias.

Here is an article written by Heather Mallick.

I have my concerns about the Conservatives, and I've voiced my criticisms of them on this board, but Mallick just seems to be needlessly hyperventilating. Then again, I've found some of her men-bad-women-innocent-victims pieces in the Star to be over the top. So, I can't say I'm incredibly surprised.

If you don't have a real argument as to why this article is biased why did you make a thread about it?

It's a terrible article. Nothing put a hate-piece hoping to appeal to the lowest common denominator (you).

Just another piece of yellow journalism written by a left-wing loser. Whereever she is I hope she stays there.

I wouldn't go so far as call that journalism, perhaps fiction is more accurate.

The triumph of Harper's Conservatives is a revolution in Canada. Grumpy old men are happy but modernists, women, young people, immigrants, people fond of evidence-based policy will be much less so. It's the beginning of a kind of war, conducted in a dull, quietly agonising way.

So there must be a lot of us grumpy old men here in Canada and by inference its really Grumpy old White men, doesn't look that way in most of the places I go?

I guess I can take some solice in knowing that Ms. Mallick will suffer through a dull agonizing war beneath the rock she is hinding under.

A person would have to be incredibly stupid to take anything Mallick writes seriously. I doubt that she believes it herself.

Don't be so sure about that. If she's a rabid left-wingers, like an NDPer, she'll have all sorts of delusions; e.g., money grows on trees, Layton really needed a massage, etc. :)

And yet you've yet to note a single piece of the article that you find to be false.

Feel free to note a region of the article that is false, it should be easy if this is nothing more than left wing dribble.

I'll be waiting, but not holding my breath, you right wingers seem to have a piss poor track record when it comes to proving your moronic assertions.

Why try? You left-wingers wouldn't accept 1 + 1 = 2 if a right-winger said it.

The Evangelist Christian right is at the heart of Harper's Conservative party, and after years of being shushed, it will now demand an end to a number of things, including abortion rights. Canada has no law against abortions, and they are available free.

....

Harper has picked the dullest bits of the country because they are the parts he doesn't hate.

You think any of this is true?

Mallick is a piece of dog crap. I'm surprised he didn't blame Laureen's tears Monday night on spousal battery; I'm sure she was sorely tempted.

This whole column basically sounds like it was copied from the Paul Martin Jr Campaign Strategy Guide, 2004 Edition. "Once they get a majority, they will tear off their moderate masks and start burning crosses in Prince George! As we speak!"

The article really says more about Mallick, and her ilk, than about Harper.

The Evangelist Christian right is at the heart of Harper's Conservative party, and after years of being shushed, it will now demand an end to a number of things, including abortion rights.

The Evangelist Christian right is now at the fringes. Surely nothing underlined that more than winning 45% of the vote in Ontario.

Harper has picked the dullest bits of the country because they are the parts he doesn't hate. You will see the royals in places where everyone goes to bed at 6:30.

What places are those, exactly? I haven't checked where the royal tour will be visiting, but I assume this comment another example of Mallick's sneering contempt for rural people. What places in Canada does Harper hate?

I see you're familiar with Mallick's work.

----

I missed this part:

You will see the royals in places where everyone goes to bed at 6:30.

So, everyone in Ottawa on Canada Day will be sent to bed at 6:30? Without supper, as well, no doubt.

Waiting on proof... Not more diversions.

Can't say I'm expecting much.

Unless you’re deficient in cognitive capacity I would think it should be easy to point out a biased section. Since the entire article is biased you could post any part of it, right?

...and that's an insult to dog crap. I'll bet she even thinks that Canadian dog crap has been corrupted and defined by American dog crap.
