Which one would Bushes like to support beyond the third Bush, Cruz or Trump?

I would rather have Trump. I don't think he means half of what his bombastic blowhard statements say, and that he's less sleazy and unprincipled than Cruz.

I totally agree with Argus and I think for the reasons he stated, don't writer off Bush either. I still see Bush or Rubio is the guy people go to on the second ballot in a brokered convention as a compromise just like Joe Clark. I also agree the fat boy from New Jersey could be used to try counter Hilaryism in the East. How popular fat boy is outside Jersey and Hoboken I do not know. I think Bush's connections that are laying very low have yet to play their hand fearing alienating anti establishment Republican votes. They put 2 Bushes and a Reagan in the White House do don't expect Bush's behind the scenes connections to do nothing. Trump is all hot air. Wait until people see he is winning. Its easy for him to be ahead now.

Cruz is unstable. Some of you need to read his speeches. He isn't even conservative. He loves big government as long as its pushing his agenda.

Cruz is another hot air candidate, another Joe McCarthy. Nasty politics. No statesmanship. The Republicans have gone so far from Eisenhower it aint funny. Excuse me but manners, standing tall and carrying yourself with dignity means something. Fart out loud politicians like Cruz and Trump deserve no one's attention.

Wow! Lindsey Graham plainly discusses what most of us are thinking about the dangerous and ridiculous state of the GOP. He calls Clinton dishonest, but says dishonest beats crazy. He surmises that the GOP cannot win with either leading candidate at the helm.

Trump has won what he had to because the people who count are fed up with mainstream politics. He resonates with angry people fed up with everything and not just 8 years of Obama but 8 years of a Republican Party with no clear vision.

The Republicans spent 8 years engaging in nasty politics but did not come across with any positive vision. Obama spent 8 years tearing down what the US is and apologizing to the world for what the US is and sucking up to people who piss on American values.

The Republicans? They mounted a campaign to be nasty but they had no articulate leader who envisions what Republicanism is and still don't. Trump is no Republican, he's no conservative, he's just a salesman peddling anger. He has no vision. He doesn't even provide a speech-he stands up, ad libs insults, and passes that off to the masses as being refreshing and they buy it.

Clinton is past tiresome. She is brittle, elitist, completely out of touch with Americans-a sliver spoon private school girl who feels she is entitled to the Presidency and has paid her dues masquerading as Bill Clinton's wife.

One thing I find absolutely repulsive about her is she is gay but remains closeted like Oprah Winfrey. Everyone knows she is gay but she won't come out because it typifies everything wrong about her-this two faced, say nothing to offend anyone and smile when everyone knows that those gums, those fangs she shows when she smiles is just out and out rabies.

Trump, he just farts out loud. People are so desperate to just hear someone say what they actually feel, they vvote for him.

Its not what he says that has captured the vote, its the fact he says what he feels and doesn't give a damn about the reaction. Clinton is the polar opposite, say only what you think does not offend.

So we have two polar extremes-Clinton specializing in political correctness and propriety and this smarmy, elitist, actually quite conservative agenda masked as being progressive and liberal when its anything but, and then Trump, specializing in political

rudeness, smarmy, elitist, apolitical, and anti-intellectual.

Both Clinton and Trump when you get down to it are the same-born into money, elitists with a sense of entitlement and contempt for everyone and anything that doesn't worship them. The only difference between the two is not their ideology, its that Trump farts out loud and laughs, Clinton tries to muffle it and giggles and says excuse me.

Americans are fed up with political correctness and prefer at this point a fart out loud, crass, rude, beligerent blowhard to another

phony liberal. 8 years of having Obama sneer at them with his gritted teeth smile spitting on everything America stands for

has got them wound up. So did 8 years of negative anti vision from the Republican platform.

Th Republicans have no one but themselves to blame for their inability to attract any quality candidates. It showcases the corruption of politics and how no sane American with management ability and who would make a great leader would go near the political stage

at this point.

Its interesting because we in Canada made it clear in the last election we also want a snot nosed elitist rich sheltered self entitled

narcissist in office. Because our snot nosed sheltered elitist rich boy silver spoon narcissist though smiles and sounds like a drag queen porno star, hey it captured our sensitive side.

The Yanks vote for a man who burps, we vote for one who licks himself like a cat in public.

Pit bull, pussy cat. You ask me they all need to be fixed anyways.

There's more evidence of Trump weakness if you look closely: Why did he lose Oklahoma? Because it's the only state where the vote was restricted to actual Republicans. Which further bolsters the case that Trump is not leading a revolt from within the party, but staging a hostile takeover of it.

According to this analysis, Cruz may be more likely to win.

I think you've hit the nail on the head here... the Republicans have fed and fueled this anger pretty much since Obama took office. They had the assumption that feeding anger and discontent with Washington would result in a Republican presidency... instead if has resulted in creating the perfect environment for an outsider like Trump to walk in and blast the party establishment. They nurtured this anger with the assumption that they could control it. They created this monster.

I don't know that she (or Oprah...) is gay. But at the time when she was coming up in the politics and business world, coming "out" would have been career suicide. And coming "out" after decades in the public eye and essentially saying she's been faking it all along would be career suicide as well.

Personally... I think it would be amazing if Condoleezza Rice and her long-time partner moved into the White House, but that couldn't happen present-day, especially on the Republican side.

Some day there might be a gay president. Some day there might be a female president. Maybe some day a robot president (maybe Rubio still has a shot at becoming the first?) and someday maybe even an atheist president.

Is this possible, for Cruz and Rubio, to form an ally to run?

Rubio was designed to be able to merge with other candidates to form a single, more powerful candidate. But Cruz is not compatible.

The remaining hope for Republicans who dread the idea of Trump being the nominee appears to be a "brokered convention", which means that if Trump doesn't obtain a majority of the delegates, then when they go to the national convention this summer, the delegates who oppose Trump can get together and decide to join forces behind a single candidate. When they do the votes, the candidate they rally behind might have more votes than Trump. That would anger an awful lot of people, though. Imagine if Trump went to the convention with 48% of delegates, and Cruz with 22% of support and Rubio with 18% and they got together with other delegates from other candidates who've dropped out, and they do the vote and Cruz wins 51% to 49%. It would make it look like the party essentially got together to overthrow the clear choice of the voters... and it would completely alienate all of the new voters Trump has brought to the party. and it would undermine the legitimacy of the nominee, Cruz in this example.

I can't stand HRC, but to call her a 'closeted lesbian' with 'fangs' is really uncalled for. Frankly, it speaks more about you, Rue, than it does about her.

Very harsh.

The Canadian Government is planning to waste at least $235 million for a project, The Thirty Meter Telescope, which won't even be built on Canadian soil.  The Thirty Meter Telescope most likely will employ few Canadians.  To make matters worse, the telescope will be built in Hawaii, USA on land which is both environmentally and religiously sensitive to the indigenous Hawaiians.  I hope everybody will protest against the waste of tax money and human rights abuses.  Please sign the petition to stop the injustice happening within the USA at the expense of Canadian taxpayers.  I am posting a link to an online petition against the Thirty Meter Telescope and waste of taxpayer money: https://www.change.org/p/justin-trudeau-a-call-to-divest-canada-s-research-funding-for-the-thirty-meter-telescope-on-mauna-kea

Im currently a grade 12 student who started an Initiative to Inform Youth about Politics and World Issues.
I started this podcast in the summer of 2019 after seeing the lack of attention being given to the Canadain  election of 2019. My older friends were not voting, and if they were voting, they voted without the proper knowledge. That led me to create this podcast where I try to inform the youth about world issues and politics, and hopefully encourage them to vote.

American analysts are anxiously watching the strengthening of the forces of the Russian army, which has been happening in recent years. The Russian fleet got at its disposal the «Caliber» cruise missile, which confirmed its capabilities during real combat firing at terrorist targets in Syria. Also the new «Zircon» hypersonic anti-ship missile, which can be used from launchers for «Onyx and Caliber» complexes, is going to appear in the fleet service. The National Interest, also, noted the power of the Russian «Poseidon» project of an unmanned underwater vehicle with a nuclear power plant on board. All this, along with the expansion of the geopolitical influence of Moscow, forces the Pentagon and the White House administration to closely monitor changes in the military sphere of Russia.
