They are unimportant. I have addressed them all, and you keep bringing them back up, like they haven't been disproven at length before.

You lie like Trump. Must have been watching him well.

Not true.

Please explain why it's both OK for Trump to decide it's good to have a Peace Treaty with the Taliban but then cancel it. He either made a mistake by proposing it or made a mistake by cancelling it.

If a President is incapable of admitting a mistake, Like claiming Alabama is about to get hit by a Hurricane. And not only incapable of admitting a mistake but will keep the issue in the newscycle with a series of flimsy defences, does that not show a level neurosis?

How does admitting mistakes help him? That's caving to the media, the electorate doesn't like that. It's called A-B testing, he throws an idea out there, sees the reaction, and adjusts accordingly.

You can sort of understand not admitting to a mistake. But flimsily defending a mistake to the point he did was insane. It's almost like he's trying to see how much BS his base will believe.

No, you actually dismiss them as unimportant.

Remember "Pick your Battles".

He's trolling the media, that helps him. How do you still fail to grasp that very basic thing? Just because you don't like what he does, doesn't mean that lots of other people disagree.

No, I actually listed the reasons for that length in our previous discussions, now you bring it back up because you misguidedly think you won those arguments.

So you're cool with dishonesty then? Just checking.

As least we can admit what immoral behaviour we can live with. That's a good start.

I guess a better question would be why have a SCOTUS. If a right to abortion isn't something the Federal government can have an opinion on. What is?

The SCOTUS will decide, I don't even say for certain they will throw down Roe v. Wade in its entirety, and that is not required per se

The SCOTUS can simply amend the law to assert states rights within the context of Roe v. Wade.

For me the issue is the states rights against federal overreach, on whatever issue, be that guns or abortion or land management.

At 6-3 under the rule of the conservatives, I am quite confident states rights will be asserted, the actual outcome of the abortion law challenges are not my issue.

I'm cool with trolling the media, keep it coming. It works, you just want him to stop what is working for him because you want him to fail.

Well I think a large faction of Trump's Base does like that.

I just don't believe it's enough to keep it going. I think many people thought he'd actually try to make people's lives better and not just start petty fights.

Most Americans dislike the media, and want to see it trolled, it ain't just Trump's base, the media is far less popular than he is, which is why he attacks them so often. It's not just his base, you may wish that it was, but it has far broader appeal than that. When the media picks there battles with him poorly, just because he trolls them, that makes them look even worse and diminish their credibility even further. Getting ahead by tearing the media down is entirely rational of Trump, it's not an accident.

Sorry soldiers - the stupid, divisive leftist politicians in the US can never let a good crisis go to waste so they’re doing everything they can to exacerbate problems along the border. Their toadies love them for it. The President is doing what he can to keep his promise to the American people.

And the dummies democrats are at it again. I heard on FOX News today that the dumbocrats are going to try and impeach Trump on something else again. The sore losers will never quit. What these morons are doing to themselves is that they are certainly showing themselves to be a bunch of asses as usual. if all they can think about is to try and get Trump, and never offer the people anything else, than it should be seen as them wanting to commit their own political suicide. I say, keep bringing it on, oh stupid ones, and do commit your political stupidity end.

Goodbye.

What like his obvious corruption? He forces the government to use Trump properties for government business whenever possible.

This is why Sharpie-Gate actually does matter.

It's a case study about Trump showing he can never be wrong, even when he is. He lives in an alternative reality and forces everyone to see the world the way he does.

In a statement released Friday afternoon, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) stated Alabama was in fact threatened by the storm at the time Trump tweeted Alabama would “most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated.”

Referencing archived hurricane advisories, the NOAA statement said that information provided to the president and the public between Aug. 28 and Sept. 2 “demonstrated that tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane Dorian could impact Alabama."

Trump is literally getting his agencies to lie about the weather!

According to this chart, the Southeast corner of Alabama never saw more than a 10% chance of ever even seeing any effect from the storm on September 1st.

I was following Dorian's path. By Saturday, it was obvious the storm wasn't even likely to hit Florida very hard, much less a state that's only connection to saltwater is the small Mobile Bay.

Also on Monday, NWS director Louis Uccellini spoke at a conference and praised the Birmingham office and said "they did what any office would do." When he asked the local staffers to stand up and be recognized, there was a long standing ovation, per attendees.

Later in the day, The New York Times, citing three anonymous sources, said Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross "threatened to fire top employees" at NOAA over the Birmingham brouhaha. Ross denied the report. But The New York Times said, very specifically, that Ross "phoned Neil Jacobs, the acting administrator of NOAA, from Greece where the secretary was traveling for meetings and instructed Dr. Jacobs to fix the agency's perceived contradiction of the president." Later that day, NOAA came out with a B.S. statement that tried to support Trump despite all the available evidence at hand.

It's not really that saying Alabama was at risk of the Hurricane is really all that bad. It's that being called to task about his incorrect statement irks Trump so much that he forces one of his agencies to release a statement telling a lie.

Astonishing.

Don't two the line on your boss trying to invite terrorists to Camp David for a Photo Op. . . YOU'RE FIRED!!

What a clown show.

It's interesting that Bolton immediately tweeted that he offered to resign last night when they were together, but Trump said "Let's talk about it tomorrow'. This continues an ironic habit of Trump of never firing anyone in person. I think that's because Trump figures once you fire someone you have no power over them and they might just tell you what they think of you. Trump is not a brave man (to put it mildly) and is the diametric opposite of the character he played on that reality show.

Astonishing.

The hurricane was originally projected to hit somewhere within a broad area and Alabama was part of the general area that could be hit, but it wasn't in the "cone of certainty". The info was outdated at the time Trump made his comment.

It's correct to say that Alabama was not within the "cone of certainty" at any time, but it's not correct to say that Alabama was never in any projected paths of the hurricane. If it even matters.

This is just like the "alternative facts" about the inauguration crowd size. Trump used the data from transit ridership and made an incorrect claim - not a lie. MSM is desperate to make Trump sound like a liar so they spin the narrative to make it seem like a lie. There's a difference between being wrong and lying but you can't tell that to a CNN toady.

Looks like Trump has sacked the hawkish security advisor John Bolton.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/world-us-canada-49655279

Throughout his administration he has literally sacked everyone which reflects his judgment and ability to make a sound decision. Nevertheless, Bolton was a good riddance and not liked by many in his administration.
