America under President Trump

So sure Hunter Biden broke no laws, is somehow positive Donald Trump broke the law though. Boges can see no double standard, keeps waiting for the bombshell moment that finally finishes Trump off, even though it's never going to happen.

Well where is the transcript of Hunter Biden doing something illegal?

I can point to several things Trump has potentially done illegally. Buuuuut DOJ opinion says a sitting POTUS can't be indicted. Impeachment is the only recourse.

I never said there is proof Hunter Biden did something illegal, but there isn't proof of Donald Trump doing anything either. With Biden you refuse to speculate and act like it's conspiracy theory, with Trump you speculate ad nauseam with your wishful thinking that he's finally done now. Obvious double standard in favor of the Democrats is obvious, you're a hack.

Go ahead Impeach him, make his day. That's playing right into his hands, and making the Democrats look hysterical.

Holding the POTUS accountable for corruption is hysterical. I guess we'll see.

I wonder what the Whistle-Blower complaint has to say. The Senate unanimously asked to see it.

The American people are totally against it, yet the Democrats are all for it, it's political suicide.

The "whistleblower" has nothing to important say, he never even heard the phone call. If you are counting on him to have "the smoking gun" you're going to very disappointed. You really will grasp at any straw to attack Trump, sad.

That's your ill-informed opinion. But we'll see.

There wasn't popular support for Nixon's impeachment either, until people actually found out what he did through the inquiry that is following.

That is not my ill informed opinion, it's what all the polls on impeachment say. 66% of Democrats are in favor, swing voters and Republicans are vehemently against it. Look up the polls if you don't believe me. It's a Democrat only obsession, you just don't want to believe that you are Democrat Partisan, when you obviously are, so you assume swing voters agree with you. You denying that Americans don't support impeachment is just your ill informed opinion.

And out of curiosity. If there was irrefutable evidence of a Quid Pro Quo, would you support impeachment?

Because this transcript come pretty close to it.

There is no evidence of a quid pro quo, if there was, then Trump could be impeached. Trump would have never released the transcript if there was a quid pro quo.

Like I say, Americans are against Impeachment, all the polls agree, and Democrats want to commit political suicide anyway, because their Demohack bubble supports it. Go ahead, make his day, Americans will be even more against impeachment than they are now, if the Democrats actually go through with it.

I think there's plenty of evidence that "The Biden's" weren't being corrupt.

No we don't really know that.  Because an extensive investigation has never been done.  Just substitute Trump for Biden in all of these instances and ask yourself if you'd feel the same way.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/peter-schweizer-biden-familys-foreign-dealings-7-essential-facts

1. Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, joined the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma in April 2014, according to RSB bank records. Hunter Biden had little background in energy. Over a 16-month period, Burisma paid $3.1 million to a bank account associated with Hunter’s business.

2. Joe Biden led the Obama administration’s policy toward Ukraine when he served as vice president. Biden helped shape Ukraine’s energy and anti-corruption policies, issues that directly impact Burisma.

3. Burisma sought to capitalize Hunter Biden’s name and relationships. According to The New York Times, Hunter Biden helped assemble the company’s legal team, which consisted of American attorneys and consulting firms, including a former Obama Justice Department official.

4. Burisma is led by an oligarch named Mykola Zlochevsky. Zlochevsky served as ecology minister under pro-Russia former Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovich, leading to allegations that he used his office to benefit Burisma.

5. Burisma was under legal scrutiny. Shortly before Hunter Biden was appointed to Burisma’s board, British authorities froze $23 million of Zlochevsky’s assets as part of a corruption investigation. Ukraine opened its own probe later that year.

6. Financial records from Morgan Stanley show numerous lines of money going into the account of “Robert H. Biden.” The funds originated from oligarchs and anonymous LLCs in Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan and elsewhere.

7. In 2013, then-Vice President Biden and his son Hunter flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Ten days later, Hunter Biden’s firm scored a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China.

Sure there is.

The context of this call was military aide being suspended a week earlier. And once the Ukrainian President brings it up, Trump asks for a "favour".

He's also asked to follow up with Gulianni and Barr. I suspect the Whistleblower complaint involves their interactions.

The favor was never done, therefore, no quid pro quo, by definition. Asking for a favor isn't a quid pro quo, for a quid pro quo, both sides have to agree and then actually exchange favors. That never happened, so you've got nothing, you just wish Trump did what you think he did, but as usual, you are reaching because you have Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The transcript also says that the President said that an investigation would commence once a new prosecutor is named in September. The money was withheld until this Whistleblower complaint came to light.

Regardless, asking for a political favour is corrupt enough. Ditto with withholding the Whistle-blower complaint. And now that these transcripts have been released, Trump can't claim privilege.

Asking for a favor isn't super on the up and up, but if you try to impeach over that, or witholding the complaint of someone who isn't even a whistleblower, then America is going to hate impeachment even more than they already do. America does not agree with you about getting rid of Trump via impeachment, it's time you accept that and stop deluding yourself that they are on your side.

Trump released the transcripts because he knows there is nothing in it that can hurt him, and he knows Democrats are going to overplay their hand like they can hurt him and make themselves look like fools in the process. He knows the Democrats are going to react like you are, and he's baiting them to do so.

I like how you've pivoted to the popular opinion of impeachment and moved away from defending Trump.

I'd like to find the Obama voter that didn't vote for Hillary, was considering voting for Biden, Warren, Harris etc, but is now so offended that Democrats would impeach Trump over doing this that they'd stay home or vote for Trump.

That person doesn't exist.

Swing voters exist dude. Plenty of voters who voted for Obama voted for Trump, hence his success in the Rust Belt in key districts in swing states that voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Plenty of swing voters already voted for Trump in 2016, and more of them will vote for him in 2020, especially if the Democrats try to impeach.

The Democrats buy the garbage, swing voters do not, and neither do Republicans.

That's a winning coalition, don't need no stinking Demohacks to flip for the Democrats to commit political suicide on this one, alienating swing voters and firing up the Republicans is enough.

Americans weren't fans of impeaching Kavanaugh either, and Democrats still bring that sh*t up like it's a winning hand, it's hilarious. None of this impeachment nonsense plays with swing voters, Democrats are out to hang themselves.

Trump loves a good fight, so bring it on Democrats.    Impeach !

This will be a great warm up match for next year's election, and Biden was already sinking fast.

It's not like Trump put on blackface !

The majority of Americans do not want President Trump impeached:

Quote

A new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday shows a majority of Americans do not think President Donald Trump should be impeached and removed from office.

In a clear partisan divide, 4% of Republicans and 73% of Democrats surveyed support impeachment. Those who responded against impeachment include 95% of Republicans surveyed and 21% of Democrats.

The poll was conducted between Sept. 19 and 23, just as Trump was in the thick of a controversy after news of a whistleblower complaint from within the intelligence community surfaced about a phone call with Ukraine's president asking for an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden, a 2020 candidate.

Ok that wraps it up 100%. Joe Biden was determined that the prosecutor in the Ukraine absolutely had to be fired for reasons that had nothing to do with the investigation into the company that had just plunked Hunter Biden, with his vast inexperience, onto the board and paid him so much money for (what?).

It was surprisingly easy to find that conclusive evidence. I feel so silly now.

All those points don't indicate Ukraine had an official investigation into Hunter Biden.

Looks like Joe Biden will go from Sleepy Joe to Crooked Joe....well played !

If I was a betting man, after seeing Biden's performances recently, I suspect he won't be the Democratic nominee.

Trump blew his corruption wad on the wrong person.

No he didn't....Trump and the GOP would much rather run against extreme socialist Sen. Warren.
