America under President Trump

So was his.  Get it?  ;)

There was nothing inaccurate about the meme that I posted. The post I was responding to was just another pathetic example of childish, baseless, anti-Trump screed and the meme was mildly offensive but right on point.

Your response was to post a lie. That's not the same thing at all.

Maybe you should re-consider what you believe in if you constantly have to lie in order to "make a point".

What's baseless?  He demands the identity of the whistleblower.  He protects the dogs identity.  Sorry for having the ability to put two and two together.

I guess Canada's education system did too well of a job with my generation.

The dog's name is Conan. He's a good dog, and you're a counter-productive Trump Hater playing right into Trump's hands with your Trump Derangement Syndrome that will cause you to reach for any straw to try and attack him, no matter how foolish it makes you look.

Lol the media released the dogs name.  The same media trump calls fake news.

Too funny.

They are fake news, that doesn't mean every single story is fake. Even Conan knows that, and he's a dog, what's your excuse?

Well then which one is real and which one is fake then?  Should I believe trump over them, or them over trump.  So far both have lied to me repeatedly.  One started a trade war with my country, the other didnt.

Hmm......

Hmm......

You aren't supposed to trust politicians or the media, and you are supposed to use your own judgement on a case by case basis. But that won't work with you, because clearly your judgement is suspect, as evidenced by literally trying to spin every story with political implications into a negative for Trump.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is a helluva disease, especially in Canadians, even American lefties don't even have it as bad as you.

1) There's no actual "whistleblower". That person was already a Dem asset because they had a working relationship with Schiff before they filed their paperwork. That's what they remain today - a Dem asset.

2) The dog's identity was protected by protocols that are in place to protect the identity of US soldiers. The US military doesn't automatically release the names of soldiers who are involved in spec ops. Buy a clue. Trump isn't doing anything wrong by withholding the name of the dog.

You put something incorrect together with something else that was incorrect and you thought that you had +2.

You have an education? You must play football. Your "education" failed you on both counts here, as usual, and your grammar & math also suck.

I never said he's doing anything wrong by withholding the name of the dog.  I am saying he's wrong by demanding to know the identity of the whistleblower.  Anonominity is still legal, regardless if you like it or not.   Tin foil hat theories about the whistleblower is not going to change the facts.

President Bill Clinton was impeached soon after 1998 mid-term elections without hesitation by the Republicans.   There was only a slight delay while Clinton bombed Iraq ("wag the dog"), but the deed was quickly done along party lines before Christmas (1998).   Two articles (perjury and obstruction of justice were passed), while two other articles failed (2nd perjury charge in Paula Jones' case and abuse of power).

The Democrats are moving much more slowly because they do not have the equivalent of a Starr Report or strong public support, and some members of their party are queasy about playing this game in strong Trump districts.

What is taking Pelosi so long  ?   Maybe she could call Newt Gingrich for some tips on how to play this game better/faster.

It's all about the journey - they know their final destination is out of reach.

So now they attack Vindman after he gives testimony, saying that he is a traitor because his family background comes from the soviet union.

And they wonder what the problem is.

Lol

There's one group of people who have gone bonkers with Russian conspiracy accusations and it's not the Republicans or Fox News. Wake up and smell the coffee.

According to the NYT, which is decidedly in the back pocket of the Dems, Vindman was "advising the Ukranians" while he was working in the Whitehouse. That's exceptionally worrisome wording, if accurate.

I don't have access to the other side of the NYT paywall and I never will, so I can't quote them verbatim. If you could that would be nice.

The problem is.... Democrats.

"Everything Trump did was the absolute worst!" They're flat out moronic. The USA is in a golden age where they're standing up to awful Chinese trading practices, their economy is still on the upswing, they're not getting involved in any new wars, islamic state is no longer a landowner 5 years ahead of Obama's timeline, etc, etc and the Dems and CNN still haven't said a single positive word about Trump. It's an enormous joke.

Just three years ago the USA was in their third straight year of rioting, looting, arson, anthem protests and cop-killing. Now people are too busy working to get involved in any of that crap. THANKS TRUMP! Go to hell Pelosi/Schiff, etc.

Because he spoke the language!

Would you not gravitate to someone who spoke English in a room of people who spoke Ukrainian?

It doesn't matter what language they're speaking. Vindman can't "advise" the Ukraine.

If you were in a room with your lawyer would you want him giving advice to your opponent?

Like Canadians, New Yorkers have been moving to Florida for generations.   So can Trump....

Another Democrat candidate bites the dust....Beto O'Rourke is out of the race.

Quote

U.S. President Donald Trump quickly weighed in on O'Rourke's exit, saying in a tweet: "Oh no, Beto just dropped out of race for President despite him saying he was "born for this." I don't think so!"

Few Canadians are given the good riddance routine.  -_-

Many Republicans are though. It's New York. Has nothing to do with how good or bad of a job Trump has done, and everything to do with them being Demohacks hating on a Republican.

Yes they are...based on CBC.ca reader comments....even for just "cross-border" shopping in the USA, "hurting" Canadian business.

Oh come on you don't know? You are well aware she is well aware that the Senate is majority Republican and at this time would never vote out Trump so her strategy is to play out this game, get the info air-tight and have Republican Senators sit and swet and rethink their futures with Trump. It seems to be working as one by one Republican Senators are breaking rank as each day another little morsel comes out. Its called swetting it out. There will be no rush. The timing will be to have the House of Reps inquiry recommend impeachment right before the next election and AFTER a democratic candidate is picked not before.

Surely you get that. Its called timing. In the interim Trump will continue to repeat lie after lie which the press will track and fire people and lower himself on twitter adding to the already solid impression he is deranged.
