On Canada Day, approx. 1000 Canadians marched to the American Embassy in Ottawa and shouting "We Love Trump". What do you think about that, eh Bogus? It would appear as though there are many Canadians preferring to support Trump on Canada Day then celebrate communist Canada Day. But then again why celebrate Canada Day anymore? Canada died long ago thanks to both comrades old and young punk, Trudeau's.  I did not watch one communist Canada Day celebration on TV. I had better things to do.    Source: RightEdition website. :D

Show me where Trump has a criminal conviction.

Donald Trump has never been charged with a criminal offence. If he did we would have heard about it a million times by the commies in America and here in Canada also.

On Canada Day, of all days, approx. 1000 Canadians marched to the American Embassy in Ottawa and shouting "We Love Trump". I guess that those Canadians preferred to want to support and celebrate Trump rather than celebrate Canada Day. But why bother celebrating Canada Day anymore anyway? Canada died long ago thanks to those two comrades old and young punk Trudeau's who have pretty much turned Canada into a communist like country.

If young comrade Trudeau had his way, this website forum would be gone. The young punk hates freedom of speech unless it is his version of freedom of speech. I was happy to see and watch that video of so many Canadians marching for Trump. There would probably have been more but I guess that not too many people were able to get there because of distance. ;)

There is this fantasy about thinking that Latinos will start voting for the Republicans because the Latinos are conservatives by nature.

First of all, the Republicans have become labelled as a party for old white men to the extent that it takes some doing to attract voters from elsewhere.

Secondly, are the Latinos really that conservative? Perhaps that was the case in the 70's but now? I don't think so.

Christianity has gone downhill and especially Catholicism. When as in the 70's the word from the pope really meant something these days it means nothing. Namely, the birth-rate of the Latinos is below the replacement-rate, which would be impossible if they took their Catholicism seriously as their religion forbids not only abortion but also contraceptives. (Btw I have no idea where they have had this thing from in the first place that abortion and contraceptives are wrong as I guess when the Bible was written neither abortion nor contraceptives were were known).

Maybe they are too busy dodging bullets from MS-13, while their preferred liberal leaders sip pina coladas behind their secure, gated compound. Ahh, me public.

Trump's Mt. Rushmore address was significant and powerful.  It was underreported but may be remembered as an important rallying cry making the case for the idea of America.  It was drowned out by accusations of divisiveness, but his emphasis on the importance of respecting American heroes, including Americans of colour, is a very important message when we see the mindless kind of behaviour that destroys statues of abolitionists.  Anarchy and nihilism are real threats right now.

True, but the battle lines have already been drawn.

The message was lost on many because of the culture war and identity politics that Trump himself has inflamed for political gain.

When thousands of Americans are dying and millions are getting sick. (and the rate is increasing, not decreasing) it's telling that statues are what Trump thinks he can get re-elected on.

He has no ability to address the pandemic.

And his tactic to turn the page is to sympathize with people who support the Confederacy. Shocking!

The death rate is actually decreasing.

The death rate has been falling for several weeks across the country.  Including before the current spike in cases.

Yeah because younger people are getting it and now there are reliable treatments.

But if the stat that 20% of people who get it need medical intervention is true then many states in the US will reach a point where people won't be able to get any medical treatment.

According to a story from National Geographic on July 2nd the death rate for COVID-19 is 50 - 100 times greater than influenza.

Quote

In an informal analysis published on Medium, Meyerowitz-Katz compared the infection-fatality rates from influenza to several calculated around the world so far for COVID-19. Like COVID-19, influenza also has a high number of mild and asymptomatic infections. These cases are not accounted for in the majority of calculations of influenza severity made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which rely instead on hospitalizations. For the flu, doctors and hospitals are less concerned with mild cases that don’t require major treatment.

Using the handful of studies that have calculated infection-fatality rates for seasonal flu, Meyerowitz-Katz determined that somewhere between 1 and 10 people die for every 100,000 that are infected. For COVID-19, that number ranges between 500 and 1,000 deaths per 100,000 infections. By his calculations, the coronavirus is likely to be 50 to 100 times more deadly than the seasonal flu, which supports the Columbia University findings.

Yes, because younger people are getting it, and health professionals have a much better understanding on how to treat it.  20% of people who get it don't need medical intervention.  It's based on age.

This debate is probably better for the Coronavirus thread.

Hospitalization is up across the board.

Trump's sin is to wash his hands of all things COVID.

Not by much as of the beginning of June.  Definitely not on pace with the rise in cases.  And everyone cheering on protesters want to wash their hands of all things COVID.  Including Democrats and the mainstream media.  That's why places like California have seen huge spikes in cases.

The science has changed a lot since March 16th Shady. I realize conservatives are averse to change and prefer to live in the past and that's why COVID-19 is always way up ahead of you.

If you can blame the protestors, even though spikes have not been seen in New York State, Canada or any other country there were protests.

Then you can also blame these morons.

People in the US aren't wearing mask and Social Distancing, and they're getting COVID at a record pace now.

Yes, we know that it's a few times greater than the regular flu.

n Thursday, after the World Health Organization held a two-day online meeting of 1,300 scientists from around the world, the agency’s chief scientist, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, said the consensus for now was that the I.F.R. is about 0.6 percent — which means that the risk of death is less than 1 percent.

Trump's sin is to wash his hands of all things COVID.

Of all the 'sinners' in covidland, Trump should be the least of your concerns.

1) The WHO gave the entire world the absolute worst advice possible, right at the critical beginning phase when containment was still possible to some extent. The WHO killed a full half of the people who died from covid. Maybe more.

2) Our PM was so stupid that he couldn't see through the WHO's bad advice, like Trump did, so our PM took no direct and effective action against covid for two months.

3) The worst advice in the world has been given out by Dems, and only dems. "Ride the over-crowded NYC subway, come hang out in huge groups in Chinatown, let's put infected people back into care homes, don't wear masks, etc. And then there was the instant, all-out frenzy against HCQ, which seems even more conspiratorial now than it did when they first went into panic mode to discredit the drug in every way, shape and form possible. IF TRUMP HAD BEEN THE ONES TO SAY ANY OF THOSE COLOSSALLY STUPID THINGS HE'D BE HANGING ON A CROSS AS WE SPEAK.

Your deceitful shtick is exposed for what it truly is Boges. All along, the Dems and the Liberals have been the politicians giving the worst advice and doing the dumbest things. Period. Your crusade to misinform is pathetic and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Advice like Stay at home, wear a mask and stay 6 feet a part?

Are GOP led states like Florida, Texas and Arizona not seeing a resurgence in COVID cases after quickly re-opening their economy?

The beginning stage of the virus's spread was the critical stage. The Dems let the cat out of the bag. They weren't ahead of Trump at any stage. He shut down the bulk of the US economy when there were less than 100 deaths.

Your exercise in revisionist history isn't gonna fly here.
