America under President Trump

The virus is dangerous to certain people.  To healthy people under a certain age, it’s not.  Those are facts.  That is the science.

No, it's not. If you were able to find a source that says it is not dangerous to healthy people you would have cited it. You couldn't,  so now you're doubling down on culty misinformation to avoid further embarrassment.

Sorry, you lose again.

Yes, it’s exactly what I said.  It’s not particularly dangerous to younger healthy people.  The science is overwhelming in that regard.  You’re a science denier.

Cite?

Because all scientific claims can be cited. Don't just give me death rates (which aren't exactly compelling anyway). I want data on long-term organ damage, et cetera. You can't make a scientific claim without evidence, so I assume you have it at hand.

I await your silent concession I win and a desperate attempt to change the subject.

Dr. Goldacre’s team found that patients older than 80 were at least 20 times more likely to die from Covid-19 than those in their 50s, and hundreds of times more likely to die than those below the age of 40. The scale of this relationship was “jaw-dropping,” Dr. Goldacre said.

Well, that certainly doesn't say it's harmless for anyone. That just says it's particularly dangerous for the elderly in terms of fatalities. What about the rate of organ damage and brain injury?

In the future, I would suggest you at least keep your posts at a level that wouldn't get you banned from twitter.

Once again, harmless is subjective.  Some may not consider temporary conditions as particularly harmful.  Regardless, your fixation on so-called brain injury and organ damage has hardly been fully vetted, researched and understood.  However, the science is clear when it comes to the disease related to younger healthy people. It’s just not that dangerous.  It’s a week feeling like you have the flu, and then it’s over.  Stop denying science for speculation and concern.

Whoever said organ damage is temporary? Too bad you can't back anything up with real data. You just spew nonsense without any references (other than a NYTimes article that just says it's really, really dangerous for elderly people) and claim it's science because you wish it were.

The truth isn't illegal yet Bubber. When that day comes you'll be the last one left posting.

It must be humiliating to have to repeat stupid, irresponsible, dangerous things just because Trump said them, and to have to insist they are true, even though they can be easily proven totally wrong.

Glad I'm not in a cult.

Must be humiliating to post cites that don't back up what you're trying to prove.

You're the one making claims of damage. Those are easy to cite if the damage occurs with any type of frequency.

Can you find a cite that says that the regular flu doesn't cause long-term organ damage?

Cites, Bubber. CITES! (Cites that actually back up what you're saying. IE, not cites that say "something can happen", cites that say things like "a certain percentage of people exposed to the virus will get ____________".)

Some people die from these things:

Falling out of bed, opening champagne..... Should we ban beds? Or sleeping?

Back up your claim with a cite that says that "___X___ percent of healthy people who 'recover' from covid still end up with long-term organ damage."

We don't care about 1 in a million. PROVIDE A USEFUL CITE!

There was never a shred of evidence turned up that showed that Trump colluded with Russians. Not one shred. If you look back over the years, Schiff said on many occasions that the evidence was already in, and new evidence was coming out. He stooged 50% of the country. You were COMPLETELY sucked in by it. Looking back at it all, it was a huge, festering pile of lies and bullshit.

Even members of the media, like Van Jones, knew it was fake, and they were caught on hidden cameras admitting as much.

It's really scary how many people can be led down the crazy trail with a stream of blatantly stupid lies.

Obviously something smelled fishy with Trump's links with Russia.  But if there was corruption, you can bet the Democrats would have exposed it and tried to pursue it.

Never believe anything without evidence.

There has never been such an overwhelming effort by the MSM to discredit and takee down a POTUS, not even close, it's insane.  Much of the media is straight out to f**k Trump and he knows it.  You look at Trump vs Clinton vs Biden, which one is controlled by the corporate class and which one doesn't a give a rat about anything but their own interests?  Trump is a threat to the corporate class because he's not nearly as controllable, so the MSM has been given the ok to destroy him.  Trump is also giving them a lot of material to work with lol.

Corporate advertisers have a lot of sway in the MSM because advertisers pay their bills.  Stopping illegal immigration isn't in corporate America's interests, nor is messing with trade with China etc, nor is being the least warmongering POTUS since before WWII.  Corporate America are globalists, and profit doesn't give a rat about America.

No.  Corporate America MSM is controlled by corporate America.  They are owned by corporations and their business model is largely based around ad money revenue from corporations who advertise.  If Bernie Sanders was POTUS they'd tear him down too, though i assume not as much because he doesn't give them the ignorant sound bites etc., and also because most MSM is left-leaning anyways.

And just like that, masks are bad again. "Don't wear them!"

CBC: "Trudeau was RIGHT when he told us not to wear masks. He's so avant garde. What would We do without him?"

I didn’t say organ damage was temporary, but who says it’s permanent?  At what rate do people experience this from COVID?  At what ages?  At what health history etc?  All you’ve provided is information that it can happen, but with no real specifics at all.  Regardless, when you take all of the cases of COVID, all of the recoveries, all of the asymptotic cases, it’s pretty close to 99% as being a bad flu for a couple of weeks, and then recovery.  It doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous, but it’s also not the plague that you and other alarmists like to insist it is.

Pretty close? But you don't have any data whatsoever to back you up. Science!

A couple of week isn't like a bad flu. Especially considering you shouldn't be around people for 2 weeks after getting COVID, healthy or not. What will that do to the work force the US is rushing back?

And you're not considering the underlying conditions that make the disease worse. Not everyone in the 20-50 age bracket is perfectly healthy.

So 99% is complete bunk. It just makes people believe that the virus isn't a threat, while Daily cases in the US got over 70,000 this weekend. When do we get to the 100,000 Dr Fauci predicted?

It's out of control in the US and without another lockdown, I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

I do agree that not everyone is in the 20-50 healthy range.  That's one of the reasons why many have died.  There has never been a time in our society where more people lived past 65, more people were obese, and more people lived with serious underlying conditions.  But lockdowns are irrelevant if after lockdowns people don't do what they're suppose to do.  It will just be a vicious cycle.
