The electoral college has strayed  from the  framer's intent causing a failed democratic republic. If the framers intended for popular vote in a state to be their view of a representative republic , t

Do some research. You'll find your concept is incorrect.

The first reason that the founders created the Electoral College is hard to understand today. The founding fathers were afraid of direct election to the Presidency. They feared a tyrant could manipulate public opinion and come to power. Hamilton wrote in the Federalist Papers:

It seems the purpose of the EC failed in the current instance.

Really, I think it's even more valuable today.  Without it, the whole country would be ruled by New York, California, Florida and a handful of large cities.  The farmers and blue collar people would have no say whatsoever in the policies directly affecting their own lives.  The tyrant you speak of could pander to just a few localized areas and know that she could tell the miners, farmers and such that they are deplorable and still win.

Naw I think you should thank Putin.

Yeah, I know.  Putin pulled the strings and did some mysterious hocus pocus to pull out a win for Trump.  How?  Well the theories abound, it seems.  Why?  Well the theories abound, it seems.  And like any good conspiracy theory, it just can't be proven.   But it's easier to believe that some mysterious hand pulled strings than to believe the truth, that Hilary sucked so bad and Trump's charisma won enough votes to win the day.

Actually it's better for Trump that the left stays in denial and stays divided, chasing down every rabbit hole that the MSM "discovers".  The proof?  Georgia's election results, and all the other special election results.  The Dems threw everything they had at Georgia, more money than sense it seems.  And they still lost.  Keep it coming Dems.  Keep doing the same things time and time again and expecting a different result.

If it was the Russian hackers who revealed Hillary's campaign emails, so what?

All they did was to reveal Hillary and her campaign's own words. It was her own words and deeds that helped sink her. Hillary and the Dems need to look at themselves, instead of trying to blame others.

The Democrats are not doing themselves any favours by continuing politics as usual. Which is to allow special interest groups and the old guards control where it goes. Look at the Georgia candidate they spent millions on, who ended up losing to some no name.

Both the GOP and the Dems are old and stale. If Americans could get an alternative voice, that would actually represent them, things would change. Unfortunately, the money is behind the two old and stale parties. And it's the money that drives the campaigns and gives exposure to the candidates.

No, "things would not change".    Follow the money...always.

When the Reps. bring forth the truth about the killing of Seth Rich and the connection of the Clintons and Obama to cover it up what will their supporters do? Apparently, Sanders was paid a HUGE some of money by Clintons, their Foundations has billions for this kind of thing, and now Sanders have a very expensive at the New Jersey seashore and drives a very expensive sport car. BTW, an executive to the DNC, said last night on a radio program, she wasn't told about the hacking  by either Hillary or Comey and she is saying now something is not right and was very angry.

Turns out that the Democratic National Commitee (DNC) was in so bad a financial condition from  2012 election debt, it sold out to Hillary Clinton lock, stock, and barrel.   Bernie Sanders never had a fair chance...the fix was in.

Another "Despicable Me" production from Team Clinton.
