Democrats Are In Disarray...Not GOP

Recommended Posts

No it's not a travesty.  That's the electoral college which prevents California and New England dictating their will to the rest of the country.

And how is that fair at all?  People vote, not land.

People did vote over the past eight years, and now the Democrats have lost the presidency, Senate, House, governorships, and state houses.

Democratic party is in disarray....trying to find new leadership that appeals to more voters in all states.

This had nothing to do with Saddam or WMD in Iraq.

Yes they do....there are many more elected offices than just the presidency.  "All politics is local".

People did vote.  There has to be balance between the regions to maintain the federation or it splits. What's the point of having a large country if only the people from a small part dictate what goes on to the rest of it?

But the next president is the treasonous puppet who wants to sweep it all under the rug. He even has some particularly gullible people believing here isn't conclusive evidence.

This has led individuals in the GOP into the tricky position of deciding whether they are loyal to their country or their party. We are watching that shake out as we speak.

That's your opinion!

The Russian and Israeli leaders have never been fans of Obama.  The others are just things you're making up.

Merkel sent a special envoy to see Trump....and he's not even inaugurated yet!

Egypt too!

Quote

Egypt has delayed a UN vote on a text condemning Israeli settlements in occupied territory after Israel asked Donald Trump to intervene.

Israel contacted the US president-elect's transition team after learning that the Obama administration might abstain in a Security Council vote.

The move would have allowed the motion to pass, a US official told the BBC.

Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi discussed the issue in a phone call with Mr Trump, Mr Sisi's office said.

In a statement, it said the two men had agreed on "the importance of giving a chance for the new American administration to deal in a comprehensive way with the different aspects of the Palestinian issue".

Obama is now very much insignificant!  He's looking like a pothole in the middle of the road that everyone swerves to avoid. :D

On the streets of Chicago, community organizer and President Obama would be called a "punk bitch" for going out this way.

Being a "punk bitch" seems to be shaping up as the legacy he'll leave behind!  And it's no one's fault but his.  He's letting his enmity with Trump get the better of him.  Obama doesn't even see that Putin is trolling him!

No one will remember whatever good he did in office - but people will remember this last few weeks of his presidency!

It is also the opinion of everyone else, except for the few Trump supporters who are absolutely unwilling to admit it and have decided all facts are opinions.

The guy pinned his tweet yesterday to gush about how smart his puppet master is. He has insulted everyone on earth but his puppet master. How much evidence would you need?

John McCain doesn't need more. He called the cyberspace attacks an "act of war" yesterday. It looks like the GOP disarray could lead to a civil war before it's done. Get the popcorn and the tar and feathers ready.

The results for the house don't reflect the vote either.

That's what the Senate is for.  That was never the intention for the presidency.

there has to be a recognition that some regions just have more people and more power, or else a federation very well might split.

And that is reflected in the electoral college.  California has 55 electors, Florida 29, etc.  Yet it reflects the need that the regions have to come together to pick the president.  Very fair.

Even if the states electoral college votes were apportioned by population and not winner take all - thar would be a better system.  Or, if the electoral college (and house) were allowed to grow, the population of California would be better reflected in the number of electors.  Right now someone in Wyoming essential gets multiple votes for every one in California.

They are distributed by population.  The governor of California has more influence than the governor of Wyoming and the prosperity of California vs wyoming is reflected at the state level.  The president of the USA is president of all of USA not just California and New England and the electoral college reflects that.  Sometimes states agree with California and New England sometimes they don't.

You know what?  He's president of the larger number of people that live there.

Oh, and yes, but no.  There is a constant number of legislators and a minimum per state.  That means that California has only 53 members of the House to Wyoming's 1, when it's in fact due for far more under a system that allows growth.

As referred to in the electoral college.  55 electors for California.  However that's their problem if the other states don't agree with them.  The president is president of the USA not New England and California hence the electoral college.

Which is the difference in population.  California enjoys a significant influence in the house vs Wyoming and at the electoral college.

Yeah, that's about the size of it, he's being trolled and outmaneuvered by Putin.  Obama misread him badly during his time in office.

Say again, who's  being trolled and outmaneuvered by Putin?

Again with the outright falsehoods. It was not just California and New England, Clinton got won the popular vote in 20 states plus DC. Why do the alt right always have to lie in order to make a point, why can't they stick to the truth?

Maybe because there are 50 states + DC.
