Pause...why? I enjoy intelligent comment.

You do? I never would have guessed that by the many replies that I get from you. I can never find any intelligent comments from you at all.  But hey, I could be right. :P

How disrespectful. You don't speak for Canadian WWII veterans.

They fought against ethnic and religious discrimination.

And they brought those feelings home, and Canada began to change.

You don't seem to belong here. And I doubt Britain wants you either. Lol

(1)And neither do you unless you are able to reach and talk to them on the other side of life? If you can could you say hello to my uncle for me. Much appreciated.

(2)What they thought that they were really fighting for was for freedom and freedom of speech. They appear to have died for nothing now. We need them to come back and start the fight all over again for that freedom and freedom of speech which is what Canada and Canadians are losing today. To think that liberal foolishness like Motion 103 or a guy being sued for wearing his shoes on some muslims carpet is what they went off to fight for, and defend, and to die for is a bit ridiculous. Only liberals will believe that nonsense.

(3)Yup, Canada has started to change alright. A change that I am pretty sure that they did not go off to war and fight and die for. They died so multicultural politically correct leftist liberals could change everything that they knew about Canada, and what they believed in and brought up in that made their Canada great. They now appear to have died so other foreign cultures and traditions could one day take over and replace their beloved Canadian culture and traditions.

(4)Personally, I don't believe that you belong here nor do I want you here. You appear to be a part and in support of the globalist elites who are fighting as hard as they can to try and change this once great British/European nation into a hodge-podge third world cesspool. Britain needs more patriotic Canadians like me to help them save themselves from the same ilk that is trying to destroy their British traditions, heritage and culture. But thanks for the offer but I think that I will stay here and fight for what those old soldiers died for. That is what true patriots do? They fight for their country from the liberal elites that are trying to destroy it. Did you ever think about leaving Canada, and go somewhere that is more in line with your liberal beliefs? Can I help pick out a country for you/ I would be delighted to do so.

True...and very much a revisionist history.

Canadians did not go to fight and die in world wars to protect ethnic groups or religion.

Hell, back home Canada's government was putting Ukrainians, Japanese, etc. into prisoner camps, and residential schools were still growing.

Hey, sometimes governments have to do what they have to do during war times. At least Canada did not try and kill them while they were locked up in prisoner camps.

I have to admit that I really do like your sense of humor, especially when that humor is thrown at one of our far left liberal residents here. :D

No, he's only pointing out the hypocritical statements you made....    "picked on" because he quoted your own words?   Talk about "snowflake".

Hey, I agree with you, not misguided interpretations of military history and social causes.

Perhaps they will be deleted, but I have been heard in any case.I appreciate the response that I get when I post.    Thanks for reading me, as usual.

It's not easy some times, I tell you. I was going to report a poster but then I saw it was you. I guess there would not be much point to that, would there.

Is this the new style of forum leadership? Must be a Trump effect.

I think if the lads were wearing their uniforms they're expected to abide by that code of conduct. Otherwise if not, they have the same right to be ugly in pubic as anybody else.

I would differ somewhat, in that it depends on the ugliness.  They weren't ugly at all in this case.

Unfortunately, if it's anything like the British Army, they will get nailed under the "Conduct Unbecoming" reg.  It's kind of a catch all if you want to get someone when they haven't really done anything wrong.

1) What i'm saying is that judging a situation based on nothing more than your bias toward a group is different...and sometimes wrong.

2) If I hear of a bombing I don't wait to hear who did the bombing before knowing that's a bad situation.

3) "whereas you people say "

4) It's fine that you have you designated victim list..

1) Ok.

2) Good.

3) "You people ?"  Who ?  What group are you putting me in ?  Aren't you breaking your own rule #1 here ?

4) I do ?  Breaking rule #1 again.

Look, I'm not any better than anyone else but if you make a strong moral pronouncement, I'm going to call you on it if I can.  That's just how this works, no offence intended.

1) Based on what ?  Did I insult someone or just call them out on posting something unimaginative?  Your reaction seems overly sensitive to me.

2) Of course there would.

3) What is a 'forum leader' ?  Someone who bows down to every fake button-pushing controversy that enrages middle-aged white men ?  I'm middle-aged, white, and male but not a sucker.  I have read this stuff all before.

It's all good, post on McDuff....

Your disrespect for WWII veterans is appalling.

They fought to stop Hitler's discrimination (to put it mildly) against Jews and others.

Oh! I get it! You're one of those neonazi Hitler fans!

Not surprising, but ... Eeeewwww.

Oh ... and ... You think I'm a liberal?

Lol !

Nonsense....they fought so that the British Empire would survive and could continue its own brand of cultural and economic domination.

And the initial Sitzkreig in the West showed that Poles weren't that important...not enough to bomb Germany.

Jews??? Oh....below Poles somewhere.

Ya, and then it all started to change after the war.

The concentration camps kind of put a damper on the ideas of white supremacy that defined Canada to that point.

My favourite WWII veteran was horrified that white supremacists today are using the red ensign, because he and his buddies did fight against discrimination.

Don't you try to tell me what he fought for. He told me himself.

And don't you get ignorant about it b-c or I will hunt you down and rip your f'n face off.

No you won't....just more nonsense.

Canada was relocating "aboriginals" long after WW2.

Go learn some history about your own country.
