Can science and religion co-exist?

The only tool of science is truth.

There is no "science" or "religion" as things in themselves, apart from the mind of man. And it's man's nature to corrupt everything he touches.

Every single thing? That's just silly not to mention defeatist. How do you manage to even get out of bed in the morning?

Because someone has to stand up and speak out against the bull-shit, coming from you people.

It'll take more than standing up and speaking out - go ask Cesar Sayoc.  Apparently it was his Mom that got him up and running in the mornings.

Have to disagree with the first sentence. The second is more accurate.

How dare you question in the slightest way the empirical rule of modern science!

You've got it completely backwards - science dares you to question it, all the time. That's the whole point.

Blaming science if you don't like the answer won't make a difference.

In either case what matters most are the processes they use to reach their conclusions, one is bat-shit crazy and the other isn't.

Man can be corrupt however the science is science and if the specific experiment can be reproduced to get the same results every time, then you have FACT.

Yes agendas and egos can taint science, but the science in of itself , the process is self checking and self correcting.
