1. Isn't Canada 'foreign' to you ?  What are you doing here then if I'm not allowed to comment on another shooting in your nation ?

2. Sorry - metaphor doesn't work the same in the northern context.

Nope...not when all I get is a regurgitation of what already happened in the United States.

Comment all you wish....it is good for my post count.

1. But you're missing the northern context as evidenced by your ham-fisted metaphors...

2. Quantity over quality... nothing more American than that... billions and billions served...

Is there a northern context...that stands alone....ever ?

Pittsburgh...San Diego...New York.

By your own admission and posted reference, the Boston Marathon bombing got more attention than a Quebec terrorist attack....in Canada.

WTF ?

Another synagogue shooting today in San Diego :( Horrific terrorism, which needs to be stopped NOW.

Ok sure.  Also, end poverty NOW too!

Yes, I have always agreed with your assessment of Canada's flaws including our obsession with the southern neighbour but I don't agree with your handling of it in many cases.  Neighbours are supposed to be polite.

I would agree with your point if there were attacks on Muslims and Jews all over the news years ago, and if major political candidates were doing their best to not condemn them.

Who says it's a flaw....maybe in Canada it is a feature, lacking anything to replace the cultural and political void with domestic content.

"CanCon" is basically an admission of this reality.

Americans can be polite, but they are not so passive or trusting of government.

Was there a single political figure that didn't comment on the mosque shooting? Attacks on Jews have been going on for years. Muslims are new, but then their numbers in the West were almost non-existent years ago.

Do you want to make a blanket statement that all Islamic doctrine is evil and Islam hates Jews.

Are you saying Islam doesn't hate Jews? My understanding is its doctrine is extremely hostile towards Jews.

I just figured I’d post an equally vacuous statement.  End disease NOW!  Anyways, actually, Jews have been under attack for being Jews for hundreds of years.  But even more so in Europe over the last decade or sow.

You're right - they do condemn these shootings, I withdraw the comment.  I was referring to the weak defense or non-comment on infiltration by nefarious groups.

Point taken, but two Synagogue shootings of late are a relatively new development.

The death of one person is a tragedy,

- especially if mentioning it furthers your political cause.
