Canada Plans Regime Change for Venezuela

Indeed.  Don't hate the player hate the game.   Every single one of us would do what the politicians have to do, the moment we won an election to office.

Canada should stay home and mind it's own dam business and stop blowing my tax dollars on stupid foreign countries and their problems. Foreign aid to other countries needs to stop now. Works for me.

I am ok with that notion.

Foreign Aid is all inclusive to the Humanitarian Pixie Dust, said dust is all part of "progressive liberalism" and as of right now, they've got the votes.

Foreign aid precedes your notion of 'progressive liberalism' by like 40-50 years.

Anything to the left of Barry Goldwater is progressive liberalism to me.

Foreign aid is a waste of good taxpayer's tax dollars. Imagine if all those tax dollars were kept in Canada for Canadians instead? We could get rid of the GST or at least drop it by a percentage point or even more. Canada spends more tax dollars on foreign aid and legal and illegal so called refugees which could mean that the GST could be abolished. I truly believe that could happen. But we will never know if we don't try. With the politically correct morons running this country it will probably never happen anyway. A pipe dream, as they say.

Canada is not in the black, Canada is running deficits and has a large public debt, so technically all your tax dollars go down that tube, no matter how much you pay.

Canada will never be in the black. Like most countries in the world our dear leaders appear to be in cahoots with the globalist international bankster elite too help make them wealthy and powerful and we the sheeple pay most of our taxes collected back to them. We the sheeple are forced to borrow money from these counterfeiting criminals and we the sheeple are forced to pay them back with interest which runs into the billions every year. Allowing international banksters to control a nations money is a crime. Canada is being run and controlled by a bankster criminal syndicate. Canada will always be in the red until the sheeple decide to wake up and smell the bloody coffee. Good luck on that one.

The trick is to amass enough personal capital so that the tax burden does not effect your lifestyle.

I pay of lot of taxes, but I can't actually claim to feeling any pain therein, I'm drinking Single Malt Scotch and smoking Cohibas up in here.

One is affected by the effects.

Live simple, share the labour, love your family, pet your critters.

I don't see how having disposable income prevents me from doing that.

Well, I was raised by Beatniks, so that was growing up in cockroach infested apartments and/or living out of a VW Van.

It wasn't a miserable life, I didn't know anything else.

But I'm too old for that shit now, I like this house, it's much nicer than living out of a van.

Basically, my wife sorted me out.

I was in the army living out of a rucksack and never thought about money other than to go partying with, and my wife said "time to grow up, Peter Pan, you can't be a soldier forever, what are you going to do for money?"

To which I would add, there isn't going to be a French Revolution and free money from the Commune, so might as well just get on with life.

The French Revolution wasn't about Communism. Left & Right wing were created in it, though. If you think I'm a socialist, you really have been living out of a rucksack too long.

The French Revolution is the birth of Communism.   Communism refers to the Commune.   That's where the name comes from.

The Commune simply spread from Paris to Moscow to Beijing.

To wit, Marx didn't invent Communism.  Just Marxism.  Lenin didn't invent Communism, just Marxist-Leninism.  The French invented Communism.

Victor d'Hupay while defining the word commune in the 'Project for a Philosophical Community', wasn't Marx nor Engels. He was a follower of Rousseau...quite different from Marxism. Not to mention he was stinkin' rich. His desire for a simpler life was more that Paris etc were overcrowded and stank of sewage. Up the revolution...but don't spill the sherry.

None the less, the route of "Communism" is the Commune at Paris in the French Revolution.  They invented it, Marx and Lenin simply added more rules.

He invented the term. Far worse thugs actually put it into practice: see Wilhelm Marr and antisemitism. Similar...

Yes, I know, which is why I say a pox on French Communes.  The revolution to uphold is the Declaration of Independence.

If a mob tries to rule, blow them away.   That's what Bonaparte did.  Bonaparte put the Commune in its place.  Dead.

Well....up until he let Ney run Quatres Bras, eh?

Then...back to our regular stations.
