Are you saying you are smarter than the rest of us?

Kimberly Klacik...my new heroine.  I'm thinking President Kim one day.

Disgusting.  It’s time Democrats denounced this behaviour instead of encouraging it.  Who are the fascists again?

Trading Places....still giving after all these years.

Maybe you dreamt it.

No. I just know what I'm talking about generally.

“But for me, it has to be demonstrated that whoever I pick is two things: One, is capable of being president because I’m an old guy,” he continued, prompting laughter. “No, I’m serious. Look, I thank God I’m in great health. I work out. No, I’m serious. You know, I work out every morning. I’m in good shape — knock on wood, as my mother would say.”

Mr. Biden, 77, added that “you never know” what might happen in the future.

Whenever it's all about me, I know I've defeated you people.

And it is perfectly clear in other ways, you cannot give a meaningful retort to what I said, or the links I provided. You cannot answer to any of that at all.

You're the one who's made it all about you by claiming you're more qualified to think straighter than one of the world's top experts with a proven track record of successfully guiding people thru this crisis.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm eagerly awaiting for you to provide some meaningful clarity to your comments about Bill Gates and COVID-19.

You couldn't defeat yourself more if you wanted to.

None of our leaders in Canada 'successfully guided us through this crisis'.

They left airports wide open, crowded with passengers from every covid hotspot on earth, they weren't screening passengers, and they told everyone NOT to wear masks.

If there was a playbook for intentionally spreading the virus, our dimwits followed it to the letter.

We got a huge head start on the rest of the world in covid deaths. As the 39th most populous country on earth, with the 187th-highest pop-density we were 11th in the world in covid deaths. The only thing that saved our bacon was the fact that our country is naturally socially-distanced due to our geography. It didn't save our economy though. In the end we let in so much covid that this year that our entire economy had to be shut down and all of our country's social and sports programs had to be cut completely off.

Honestly eyeball, if Bonnie Henry/Dr Tam/Trudeau did the right thing through all of February and half of March, then why isn't it the right thing to do now? Why shouldn't we just have everything in the country wide-open, and allow flights in from New York and New Jersey? It's just completely racist to block travel from there, right? They have such a large ethnic population there, and so many white people who are guilty of slave-ownership via their tainted DNA.

Save us eyeball. Petition for open borders and an end to masks.

This is all so confusing. There is Trump who is the most hated President ever and the Democrats want to get rid of him whatever it takes so they unite their clever minds and they come up with Biden. They want to get rid of Trump like nothing else and Biden is the best they've got to offer as an alternative?

On the other hand, unless you are a true socialist and therefore a Bernie-supporter none of the primaries candidates were any better than Biden.

The Dems lack decent candidates because their entire party is as inherently ugly as their message of "defame, divide, discriminate, demonstrate (pronounced destroy), and de-fund". The cities that they control reflect that ugliness in their murder rates.

Note to Demmies: Apparently strict gun control doesn't work when you tell the police not to bother checking anyone for guns. "It's too racist to ask black people if they have guns, just let them kill each other."

I wonder how much of an effect can Kanye West have on the elction. Will he snatch some black votes away from Biden. I don't think so. This presidential-campaign is just a way to sell records.

Drain that swamp!

President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign is a political juggernaut that has taken control of much of the Republican Party’s data-collecting and fund-raising infrastructure. And according to one of the nation’s foremost election law watchdogs, it may also be evading the law in unprecedented fashion. A complaint filed with the Federal Election Commission Tuesday by the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center asserts that the Trump campaign and its joint fundraising committee with the R.N.C., the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, have violated federal election reporting requirements.

Senior Trump campaign officials, the complaint alleges, have “disguised over $170 million dollars of campaign spending by laundering the funds through firms headed by Trump’s recent campaign manager, Brad Parscale” and other Trump campaign officials—including Sean Dollman, the Trump campaign’s director of operations, and Alex Cannon, a special counsel to the campaign. (Parscale, who was recently demoted, has a new role as senior campaign adviser for data and digital operations.)

We discussed this last week.

Note, all the important Swing States don't require a reason to vote for by Mail. Going to be hard to convince people that doing something that's completely legal is actually a "Scam".

OMG, this sounds serious.

*yawn*

Yes, when a respected, neutral election monitoring body led by a Republican says the Trump campaign has laundered $170 million illegally that's just a big yawn.

Vice?  Non-partisan Campaign Legal Center?  They’re both far left of center.
Regardless, anyone can file a complaint.  Just like anyone can file a lawsuit.  It doesn’t mean it’s worth the paper it’s printed on.  I could file a civil claim against you for misappropriation of funds tomorrow.  It would cost me a whole $229.00 to file.  And then I could run to the press accurately stating that a claim has been filed against you in the superior court of Ontario, for misappropriation of funds, never serve the claim, and then withdraw it a few months later, after it served its purpose.

Idiocy.

‘Laundering’ is a poor choice of words here, which points to an agenda. IE it’s equating campaign over-spending with illicit drug activity and the two are nothing alike.

By the same token I could call Soros’s brick and riot campaign ‘laundering’ and overspending too. Ditto for BLM donations.

Vice is certainly left. There's no evidence of the other.

True enough. But this one certainly contains enough details to raise eyebrows. Laundering $170 million doesn't sound good.

Now that it seems not only possible but even likely that Trump might actually lose the election there must be a lot of Democrats kicking themselves for not having thrown their hat in the ring. The old demented goofy is actually going to win the election.

That was all due to pre-corona times. It was only some time ago it seemed certain that Trump is going to be easily re-elected and therefore many Democrats thought not to bother and instead come in 2024 when it was supposed to certain that a Democrat-candidate was going to win after 8 years of Trump-Presidency.

Now all this speculation has turned upsidedown as Trump may lose and Biden's VP will eventually take over as President some time after early 2023.

Biden is not a great candidate, but it seemed like he was the best they had. Which isn't saying much. He's ahead of Trump by ten points. But given the mess Trump has made of things that's pretty amazing. He ought to be thirty points ahead. And even worse, were it not for the mess Trump has made of the Covid response and the mess Covid has made of the US, Biden probably wouldn't even be leading. At least, not by more than a point or two.

I think the outcome would have been more or less the same no matter who was president. I wouldn't count Trump down and out yet. The choice is going to be difficult for the non-partisan.

I wonder would American democracy work better if they had like in Europe 10 parties in their legislature and therefore multi-party coalition-governments. There are pros and cons.

I'm curious what Trump fans think his path to 270 would be?

Apparently his campaign has all but given up any chance to re-take Michigan. That means Wisconsin are must-win states for him. All the while he's in trouble in states like Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and even Texas.

If he loses Florida or Texas the election is pretty much done.
