As I have been saying for so long here. Thanks to the implementation of multiculturalism and diversity the western countries of the world have now put themselves into one hell of a mess.

You are a victim of fear mongering.

People are living longer. Education is up. There is less crime. The state of the world has never been better!

Just because you're seeing more people who you don't physically identify with, it doesn't mean that things are getting worse.

The countries Trump picked as part of his Muslim ban were targeted by Obama, did you cry racist when Obama did it? Did you cry racist when Jimmy Carter had a ban on immigration from most of those countries? The media didn't claim it was racist when Dem POTUS's did it, only when Trump does it is it racist.

Muslim's weren't banned, it was certain countries that were pre-dominantly muslim that were banned. Not racist.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_views_of_Donald_Trump#Black_professionals

Donald's views on blacks have been published before.  Though some will turn a blind eye, his racism is well known.

I've got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys wearing yarmulkes.... Those are the only kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else... Besides that, I tell you something else. I think that's guy's lazy. And it's probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks.

John O'Donnell did say "allegedly". Do you know what the word "allegedly' means?

So, I say that I hate having white people like MH working for me and counting my money. I would prefer to have Asian people working for me and counting my money. They are the only ones that I want counting my money. Trump probably had a perfectly good reason for saying what he said about black people. You were not there, now were you? But what Trump said does not have to mean that Trump was being racist or hates black people. Trump no doubt wants employees who will work hard for him and maybe some of those black people working for him were found to be a bit to lazy for Trump to have work for him. If you had a business and the blue people were not working as well as those green people are you would no doubt have the same feelings towards those blue people and you would probably call them lazy and not have them wok for you anymore. It is only people like you that will look for the racism in what Trump "allegedly" said anytime you can even if it is not being racist. Why? Because you despise Trump. Right?

But I suppose that not being a big fan of liberal leftism I would no doubt attack and mock some liberal leader also. We all have our biases. You like Trudeau, and I like Trump. Personally, from my observations that I had noted while working with some blacks in the past they never appeared to me to be all that willing to want to work for their money at all. They did appear to be quite lazy, just like me. LOL.

No. It's disingenuous to equate the two. There is a major difference between Obama's targeting of those countries and the full on ban by Trump.

Here is the context:

Visa Waiver Programme.

In December 2015 the six nations were named as "countries of concern" by Congress and their citizens were restricted under the visa waiver programme, a law signed by Obama.

Trump supporters have routinely tried to claim that Obama was the one responsible for implementing the ban but that isn't exactly true.

The law was first introduced as part of a larger spending bill and restricted visitors from 38 different countries (the UK included) from accessing the Visa Waiver Programme

This would, therefore, allow the citizens of 38 countries to visit America without a visa, as long as their visit is fewer than 90 days.

At the other end of the spectrum; people who had visited or held dual citizenship in Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Syria or Sudan since March 2011, were prevented from accessing the waiver.

Libya, Somalia and Yemen were later added to the banned list in February 2016.

It was passed as part of a 2015 appropriations act by both Republicans and Democrats.

How the two acts differ.

Although it could be read that Trump's ban is similar, in essence, his ban wants to prevent all citizens from those nations full stop, no matter the length of their stay.

In comparison, Obama's legislation only affected those who were eligible for the 90-day waiver and not all visitors or travellers from the six countries.

What I find quite astonishing is that during his rally Trump said those democrats should go back to their “crime infested places”. There was a frigging 13 seconds pause in his speech when the crowd cheered “send her home”! In other words he was tacitly approving the racist chants by the crowd and then pretending he didn’t approve of it. And then his supporters say oh he didn’t mean to say that, his words were taken out of context defying any rationality.

3 of the democrats were born in the US! The more pertinent question is this where are these 3 non white democrat representatives meant to go as suggested by Trump?

The POTUS himself is of Scottish origin. Doesn’t these policies confirm divisiveness he has pursued for some time now?

No one is supposed to go anywhere, he told them to come back and go back in the same sentence of his tweet. Trump was taken out of context, reading comprehension, get some.

Not condemning the chants strong enough or soon enough for your tastes doesn't make him racist. 13 second pauses aren't racist.

It wasn't about "going further". They are two different things. That's just a cop out response to you learning that you shared misinformation. The reality is that Trump outright banned everyone from those countries. Obama did no such thing.

Jimmy Carter did though, no one called him racist just because he banned people from countries that are majority muslim. The media only pretends the Republican is racist when they do it, because they are partisan hacks.

It's not a Muslim ban, it's a ban on countries that happen to be mostly muslim and not because they are muslim, because they are countries of concern whose populations are hard to vet, big difference.

The desperation in making excuses for Trump is amusing.

With so many different non-western religions, languages, cultures, traditions and heritages being all brought into western nations of the world, and trying to lump them altogether in those western countries, and where they all must to be treated equally with western culture we have now more racism and division than ever before.

Pretty sure the amount of racism has significantly decreased since a few decades ago.

Hard to say if racism has decreased over the years. I do not know as to what is going on thru the minds of all of the millions of Canadians out there. Personally, I think that it is slowly on the rise. Just being very quiet these days. The federal government appears to be quite concerned about it. And the media is always reporting stories about some racist incident happening somewhere in Canada almost every week. But hey what more can I say.

The democrats are really desperate and are trying to constantly find something on Trump before the next election. There was no Russian collusion and Mueller found no collusion at all and still the democrats will not quit with their silly childish lets get Trump on something game. The more they try to nail Trump on something the more they just keep making total asses of themselves. Their donkey logo sure does suit that jackass of a party. Lol. Can you show us as to where Trump has ever said something really racist?  Show us the beef, chief. :D

Trump's racist tweets? How about Ilhan Omar? She is openly bigoted, the mainstream media gives her a pass. Take a good look at the future of the Democratic Party. I almost forgot about the Democrat's version of the brown shirts,Antifa.

"America, love it or leave it" has been around a long time. Blunt perhaps, but not racist. Basically what Trump was saying.

The media response has bolstered the Democrats by criticizing Trump’s remarks as “racist” and “xenophobic,” while avoiding terms like “fascist” and “Nazi-like,” which would more accurately describe the political significance of his statements and would call into question the complacent and utterly passive response of the Democratic Party.

The media has called him fascist or nazi repeatedly, as have Democrats. Literally Hitler is a common refrain. Also the media response is backfiring on the Democrats, not bolstering them.
