Chinese agent works as MPP and minister's aid

Recommended Posts

What we seem to have here is a Chinese agent who is an MPP in the Ontario conservative goverment, and assistant to a minister. So far the response from the Tory party seems to be 'see no evil, hear no evil' since, no doubt with the aid of the Chinese government, he's good at raising money for the party. Another example of how China buys influence in Canada by using its overseas diaspora, or even deliberately encouraging party loyalists to immigrate and then represent their interests abroad. Notice how he refers to 'our country' when speaking of China. He also, btw, refers to Taiwan as a part of China, which it is not.

Today, the MPP for Toronto’s Don Valley North riding is parliamentary assistant to the tourism, culture and sport minister, and a powerful fundraiser for the party.

Ke gave a hint of his worldview in a 2016 interview with the Ming Pao newspaper, promoting a new travel document for Chinese expatriates.

“A 10-year visa is still looking at overseas Chinese people as foreigners; the feeling is not the same,” Ke is quoted as saying. “We are the same as our compatriots from Hong Kong and Taiwan; we are all Chinese people. With an Overseas Compatriot Identity Card we could go back to our country more conveniently, without any visa.”

Because of our multiculturalism, you can have anyone sneak into our government.  Just imagine; if Osama BinLaden wanted to be there he would have been.  He had the money to become a business class immigrant and the money to make his way into the government.  This is how the USA lost their WTC buildings.

Not really or at all.  Security clearance, and meeting job requirements are still a thing.  This seems mostly like a supposition.

No job requirements for business class immigrants, just a certain amount they have to invest in the Canadian economy.  As for clearance any "Osama BinLaden" could meet the criteria before they find out he is an "Osama BinLaden".

Imagine we have a China-born minister of foreign affairs and an India-born Minister of Immigration.  How would one know they do not work for the interests of China and India respectively instead for the Canadian interests?  Is doubting their integrity racist or just prudent?

The MLA's swear an oath to bear true and faithful allegiance to the Queen.

Once that oath is taken, under Section 46c of the Criminal Code, if said MPP;

"assists an enemy at war with Canada . . . even if no state of war exists"

That is technically High Treason, punishable by life imprisonment upon conviction.

How is this going to discourage a suicide bomber?   I mean all of those people who came into the country and then committed crimes took the same oath.

Realistically, it is not a deterrent.

Terrorists are not an existential threat, they are simply bandits.

In the case of China, this is a hostile foreign superpower.

Terrorists will never seize power in Canada.

China is already seizing power in Canada.

Interesting.  Usually I am told governments are controlled by Zionists. I will speak with my people. They seem to be losing their grip.

On a more serious note, does anyone not believe our governments and all political parties are not influenced by people with specific agendas of interest?

Which government in Canada, federal, provincial, municipal or otherwise does not pander to ethnics to get votes?

1) Wait... NOW what are we talking about ?  You were talking about people sneaking into 'government'

2) Or a black guy secretly being a Muslim who was born in Kenya ?  If you think this stuff is ridiculous, as I do, even JFK had to respond to suspicions that the Vatican would tell him what to do.

3) Nah, it's racist.  If a guy was born in England you wouldn't be asking if he was devoted to England in his dealings.  For that matter, several federal party leaders have/had citizenship in other countries.  Elizabeth May, Stephane Dion, and I think Michael Ignatieff.

Who is talking about ethnic voters? Did you read the article? This is a guy who appears to be working for the Chinese government, who was a member of their junior cadre, like the Hitler Youth, and who has been operating as a representative of their interests since he got here.

Another guy who didn't bother to read the article but feels obligated to point out the moral inferiority of those who did. First off, England is not a brutal fascist authoritarian regime bent on expanding its influence. Second, I doubt the English Canadian guy would have been "hand picked" by the English government to attend an array of government workshops designed to help him 'realize the "English dream and the common struggle". The English-Canadian guy would probably not refer to England as his home, either, nor lie about his background. He would not have been a member of the 'student cadre' before emigrating, tasked to keep an eye on fellow students and report any wrong-think to the goverment, would not have been groomed by the 'youth league' of his local communist party, nor worked to organize English expatriates overseas on behalf of the English goverment, and would not be in constant contact with the English consulate and government as he works on their behalf.

Your politically correct reactionary progressive bullshit belief that anyone critical of a brown man is showing 'racism' is nothing but a symptom of your elitist arrogance.

Last week? Last month? Last year? Do you want to compare how the UK treated people centuries ago with how Chinese leaders did, or for that matter, African leaders or Indian leaders? Do you want to compare how the British behaved in India with the behaviour of Muslim warlords? How far back do you want to go in history?

And by the way, I wrote in the present tense. The present tense is used to talk about the present, in case that's not obvious to you.

What difference does it make?  Britain did it when it felt strong and saw an opportunity.  China also will do it when it feels strong and sees an opportunity.

As to how Britain treated the indigenous peoples, this is all in the history.  Some North American tribes were wiped out, others were decimated to close to nothing; then there were the residential schools.  But looking further into the past how did black people come to North America?  something tells me they did not come on their own but were shipped like live stock by....who?  We have to check the history.:D

There was no reason the UK could not have conquered all of Africa last year if they had felt like it. They didn't chose to do so. Times have changed. Morality has changed - although not in China.

By disease, which the UK had no control over.

Now would you like to talk about the hundreds of millions beheaded and slaughtered in India by Muslim conquerors? Maybe the way the Spanish treated natives in South America? Or perhaps how the aborigines in North America treated each other when they went to war, utterly slaughtering everyone they could find?

No, we don't have to check history. Again, check a grammar book for 'present tense'.

Was only we Britons who freed the slaves too, old bean,

By order to the Crown in 28 August 1833.

By Emancipation Proclamation on 1 January 1863

Slavery was the wages of the Whore of Babylon.

Roman Catholic Autocracy.

White Anglo Saxon Protestant Enlightenment is what overthrew it,

Empire of Liberty

Free All The Slaves Everywhere.

Manifest Destiny.

I'm not going to read the article to you line by line. If you don't want to read I suggest you don't talk about it.
