Well, that is what Trump was calling it as recently as a month or so ago at he G7 meeting.

The one making the rounds at the last G7 meeting comes to mind.

Iran has at least three separate ballistic missile programs with CEPs of 1km or more.

You do the math...

And practice makes perfect so let's give them some more reasons to do so.

Is it safe to say Trump will be able to count on you for support in the event this emergency requires he suspends elections?  I'm sure it would only be for just a few years.  Of course the Orange One might as well root out all the Deep-state operatives and enemies of the state attacking Amerika's freedoms from within while he's at it. Maybe this will take more time eh?  You in?

Iran has been working on it for decades. It's called rocket science for a reason. They've splattered so many monkeys across the desert in ballistic heat shield testing that it's getting messy.

Anyways...duh...Iran can and will have their missile deliverable Bomb. So-called 'deal' or not.

Trillions have been spent. There's even a rumor they already have a small test device...thank-you AQ Khan. But...like Israel...best to keep them guessing.

They'll probably just get Fed-Ex to deliver that one.  Who needs three missile programs?

America has been working on Iran for a lot longer.

That's right...why stop now ?

No need to suspend any elections, because the next president, and the ones after that, will keep on working it.

Got it ?

Well, Iran provided him with plenty of reasons.

In order for Will Ricciardella, et al to continue to share their consent of America's actions, all stories start with "Iran/Iraq/etc. did this and then U.S. did this..."

By the same token Trump gave Iran a lot of reasons to do things too. You know how it goes.

Trump' started wagging this dog when he was elected and ripped up the nuclear agreement with Tehran.

I agree.  He wanted to rip up the deal because they weren’t following it.  It’s too bad Obama didn’t follow the proper procedure to have it ratified as a treaty.  Trump wouldn’t have been able to rip it up then.

It must be difficult to completely ignore all of Iran’s actions since Trump took office. Also, Soleimani was in Iraq in violation of United Nations resolutions.  I’m sure that’s Trump’s fault too.

He ripped it up because it speed up the nuclearization of Iran and was an idiotic deal that never would have been ratified.

There have been predictions of a secular revolution happening in Iran. The ajatollahs would be thrown out. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen though.

The biggest loons are the Iranians.

Well, a lot of effort has gone into driving them crazy. You were expecting otherwise?

How long do you think our society would stay sane after 7 decades of being treated like pariahs?

Except that hasn’t been the case.  They’ve been treated like pariahs since they started acting like it.  Basically when they took over the American embassy and held them hostage in 1979/80

No, it is the case. Iran started being treated like a pariah when our allies overthrew democracy there in 1953.

The worst effect of Operation Ajax's success however was clearly on the west - it pumped us up so full of ourselves we saw fit to set and prop up dictators and BS our way into conflicts like there was no tomorrow.

Except there's always a tomorrow.

It was an Iranian Army coup with CIA support. It was going to happen anyways...the Iranian Army had no interest in consorting with their former Soviet jailers. Mossadeq acting like a thug and 'nationalizing' the oil industry in order to ship oil to the Soviet Union was really pushing it in 1953...the COLD WAR...he was lucky the Army didn't shoot him.

Actually, life under The Shah was pretty good for the majority of Iranians...the Empress was big into women's liberation and The Shah disliked the Mullahs as much as they disliked him.

Who do you think he was putting the screws to? Ignorant fishermen?

:D
